The Steam Engine off Kennington Road was incredible. Reminded me of the heyday of the Viper Room when Johnny Depp held court and River Phoenix burnt out before he faded way. Sheer excess and debauchery. I'd give it 6 out of 10.

I'd liken it to the suave elegance and glamour of early 60s Rome on the Via Veneto. At any moment I expected Marcello Mastroianni to walk in with Sophie Loren or Briggitte Bardot on his arm, while Fellini held court with any number of young auteurs hanging on his every word. I felt underdressed in head to toe Balenciaga, I can tell you.
