Never really got why some Liverpool 'fans' seem to delight in creating scapegoats at the club.

Voronin was a decent hardworking striker - certainly no worse than a lot of strikers already in the 'Premier' League.

But seems like some of our 'fans' just love sticking the boot in all the time - same with Kuyt and 101 other players I could mention.

Just don't get it.

The best place for a scapegoat is out of the club, i.e. at Hertha Berlin or Spurs.

If we can sell him to someone for some money, all the better.

And hardworking? Not very often.

no way could he have be called hardworking

He was better than Keane. About £20m cheaper too. And has less of a gimp face.

That says more about keane than it does about Voronin!

He's being outscored by Claudio Pizarro, easily. That's Pizarro of about 2 goals in 50 apps for Chelsea fame. Shows how crap the bundesliga, and therefore Voronin, is.

He's slow as f***, terrible attitude. so yeah, a bit like R. Keane.

Can't believe Hertha are top, they're crap.

They're the Bundesliga's Villa this season.

They always win at home though.

hardworking he was most certainly not. nor was he decent.

Thinking of one game - Boro away? - when he was the least bothered barstad about playing a game of football I have ever seen. As if he was paying everyone to be there and it was all for his own entertainment. Walked about and flicked the ball away for a laugh if it came anywhere near him.

Gas thing is that Voronin works hard for Hertha and puts himself about.

He'd have done that at us and we wouldn't have minded him.

He did that at first for us as well. Don't know whether he got complacent, lost confidence or got upset about something

But agree with Andy's point that, as a footy player, he wasn't as bad as some make out

Not good enough for us though, so it doesn't really matter

That patch of really bad games came after the first ankle injury.

The one injury that slows you down and makes ya sh** outta everything.

Mind you he wasn't good enough most of the time.

The one thing I did notice at Hertha is that he's lost a bit of padding could be contributing to his robustness over there.

always thought he did ok for us...wasnt a world beater or anything, but really he wasnt purchased to be one..

all this bad attitude stuff....dunno where that comes from, havent heard any bad words against him from our players or the manager.....

So he looked kinda lazy on the pitch, well many strikers are like that....wouldnt put that down to having a bad attitude..

More his pony tail and dress sense off the pitch has lead to him being treated like a bit of a fool and not deserving of being at anfield...

What counts as 'work' in a Hertha Berlin shirt counts as 'standing up' in a Liverpool shirt
