sutty Posted February 10, 2009 Posted February 10, 2009 Yes, it's s*** Wayne on here has as well, and cheered, and got t******.
Bigal Posted February 10, 2009 Posted February 10, 2009 (edited) done it a few times, not at Old Trafford though, that would just be stupid. christ I got threatened with a pie at Roker Park once, I reckon the mancs arent quite as polite Edited February 10, 2009 by Bigal
smithdown Posted February 10, 2009 Posted February 10, 2009 20 years ago, 1-0 (davenport) Wouldn't advise it, especially this season.
johngibo YPC Posted February 10, 2009 Posted February 10, 2009 No wayWould rather not watch it at all
The Hitman Posted February 10, 2009 Posted February 10, 2009 Done it several times, the Clock End at the Highbury.Luckily there were no goals,a bore draw.Wouldn't do it there,no chance.Sooner watch it on telly-would be angry and on edge the whole time.Would completely ruin the experience, don't bother.
Toni Posted February 10, 2009 Author Posted February 10, 2009 Thanks for the replies. it doesnt sound like a good idea does it? dunno yet if i d be too tempted few days before the match. anyhow if i go most probably you d see a guy being pummelled amongst manc fans, then you d know it s me.

Come on lad, no I in team
sutty Posted February 10, 2009 Posted February 10, 2009 20 years ago, 1-0 (davenport) Wouldn't advise it, especially this season. I was there for that one as well, in with the mancs. I was also there for the Ferdinand last minute winner one. I gave up my away end for various reasons. :shake: The other thing is that if someboy in the crowd susses you're a red, they'll pick you out as you leave the ground and you may get a hiding off a group of them.

Was I there? how my dad never got t******, I am not sure
smithdown Posted February 10, 2009 Posted February 10, 2009 I was there for that one as well, in with the mancs. I'd kept quite calm until Paul Walsh got through on a one-on-one with Gary Walsh, I'd blown my cover and he fluffed the chance. A very bad day out.
sutty Posted February 10, 2009 Posted February 10, 2009 Was I there? how my dad never got t******, I am not sure Can't remember That was when me dad was acting the t*** and I was certain we were going to die though
Toni Posted February 10, 2009 Author Posted February 10, 2009 thing is my dad is a manc and my younger brother is a manc as well. i am the only one of the family who s a red. i grew up in the barnes, rush beardsley era and was a red from the very begining, been following the reds since i was 5 years old. still have my barnes (candy) shirt. my dad was not too pleased about it but had to accept i am going to be a red. they have three tickets for the match and knowing my passion for the reds asked me to go with em. should be a bit safer with my dad and bro.

You cheer, you die. And the murderers/heysel/hillsborough stuff is all around you Depends how thick skinned you are I suppose

Sion Posted February 10, 2009 Posted February 10, 2009 Did it once when i was younger, but wasn't really as clued up as I am now. Lost count of the number of individual slanging matches with individual random mancs before and after the game in recent years, so couldn't imagine how i'd hold out with 70 000 of the t***s. Depends entirely if you can just sit there for 90 minutes and take it all in without reacting, I couldn't.
Bigal Posted February 10, 2009 Posted February 10, 2009 Can't remember That was when me dad was acting the t*** and I was certain we were going to die though The one I went to was when me mum went all school teacher on the bloke behind her
sutty Posted February 10, 2009 Posted February 10, 2009 The one I went to was when me mum went all school teacher on the bloke behind herI think that was 1-0 Stapleton
Bigal Posted February 10, 2009 Posted February 10, 2009 I dont remember, I just remember me mum rollocking that fella for his language
Hassony Posted February 10, 2009 Posted February 10, 2009 Sammaya did it at Millwall didn't he, no that was Stupid brave
Barnesy_10 Posted February 10, 2009 Posted February 10, 2009 f*** that.... would never do it, though I go to all the home games so if it was an opportunity to go and see them for the first time ever then I might go for it.. Have seen a few mancs who have been in the home end at Anfield. They soon got spotted and soon got grief. One t*** and his wife celebrated when Giggs scored a few years back. Soon got carted out.
Raj Posted February 10, 2009 Posted February 10, 2009 And the murderers/heysel/hillsborough stuff is all around you Depends how thick skinned you are I suppose In a nutshell. My brother is a Manc and he needed a lift down to Cardiff for the CC Final, a couple of years ago. I stupidly offered, as otherwise he would have missed the game. They were singing all the murderers/heysel/hillsborough stuff before, during and after the game, despite the fact they were beating Wigan 4-0. That was against Wigan in a cup final. Would rather just sit and watch the game at home then listen to that again.
RP Posted February 10, 2009 Posted February 10, 2009 You will get the sh** kicked out of you. Why would you want to do that?
