Selling the players they have helps us, as they have been half decent this year. Much as it pains me to say it, Bruce has been doing a good job. Losing Hesky and Polacios will hurt them though.

So true. The Mancs play West Brom on Tuesday so we'll be 3 points adrift before we kick off on Wednesday, with a difficult game against Chelsea to follow. We can't afford any more draws.

Give Babel another start and keep Kuyt fresh for Chelsea on Sunday - one of the few fixtures when Kuyt actually merits the automatic start he has for all games under Rafa.

But I'd say that whether through quality (of his performances over a long stretch) or default (inability of those who could replace him) Kuyt has deserved his automatic starter status this season. Should Babel get his game Wednesday at Kuyt's expense then it'd be good to see him put a marker down.
