fred milne Posted January 23, 2009 Posted January 23, 2009 I can't see a thread on this anywhere else. I'd like to see us go with a strong side against Everton in the cup and try to regain some of the momentum that we seem to have lost over the last few weeks: CavalieriArbeloa Carragher Agger AurelioMascherano AlonsoBabel Gerrard RieraTorres Subs: Reina, Skrtel, Hyypia, Lucas, Benayoun, Kuyt, Keane.
Hassony Posted January 23, 2009 Posted January 23, 2009 CavalieriArbeloa Carragher Agger DossenaMascherano LucasBenayoun Gerrard BabelTorres
Stevie H Posted January 23, 2009 Posted January 23, 2009 why the goalie change fred? just to give the lad a game?
Sion Posted January 23, 2009 Posted January 23, 2009 CavalieriArbeloa Carragher Agger DossenaMascherano LucasBenayoun Gerrard BabelTorres that could be painful to watchDossena, Benayoun, Lucas and Babel in the same team,

As much as Yossi did my head in Monday I'd play him. Not Reina? This nailed on?
Hassony Posted January 23, 2009 Posted January 23, 2009 why the goalie change fred? just to give the lad a game? Cavalieri will play, he did well in his last two games anyway I don't think Pepe played in an fa cup game since the final against West ham!
muleskinner Posted January 23, 2009 Posted January 23, 2009 (edited) ReinaArbeloa CarraAggerAurelioMascheranoAlonsoRieraKuytGerrardTorres Please. And t*** them. They will be smelling blood with any perceived weakness in our line up, a defeat is unthinkable to this lot at home. Edited January 23, 2009 by muleskinner
richwilks Posted January 23, 2009 Posted January 23, 2009 that could be painful to watchDossena, Benayoun, Lucas and Babel in the same team, I can't imagine how many times that would make me swear in one game.
Magic8Ball Posted January 23, 2009 Posted January 23, 2009 CavalieriArbeloa Carragher Agger AurelioMascherano AlonsoBenny Gerrard BabelTorres
Swipe Posted January 23, 2009 Posted January 23, 2009 No way should we play a central midfield that doesn't include at least one of Xabi or Stevie. I'd go as strong as possible. Masch in for Keane. Kuyt and/or Reira may be rested though.
fred milne Posted January 23, 2009 Author Posted January 23, 2009 Not Reina? This nailed on?I presume Cavalieri has been told he will play all cup games.
Swipe Posted January 23, 2009 Posted January 23, 2009 Reina is quoted on offal saying he wants to play but he thinks Cal deserves it and he's no qualms if he gets the nod. Sounds like he already knows he'll be on the bench.
Knox_Harrington Posted January 23, 2009 Posted January 23, 2009 I presume Cavalieri has been told he will play all cup games.Carragher should injury him in training. That'd actually be constructive this time.
Bigal Posted January 23, 2009 Posted January 23, 2009 play Keane and then f*** him off for Wigan. whinging c***
Knox_Harrington Posted January 23, 2009 Posted January 23, 2009 play Keane and then f*** him off for Wigan. whinging c***Could play him right mid. Why stop at Wigan?
Sir Tokyo Sexwale Posted January 23, 2009 Posted January 23, 2009 that could be painful to watchDossena, Benayoun, Lucas and Babel in the same team, Yossi's no good in a physical game. I've completely given up on Babel, he's been as ineffective this season as he was effective last. Lucas could do a job, but it has to be strongest XI. 4231, bring Masch back
Molby Posted January 23, 2009 Posted January 23, 2009 wanna walk on the wild side? try this: Cavaleiri Arbeloa Agger Carra Aurelio Gerrard Masch Xabi Babel Keane Torres special instruction to Aurelio: bomb forward, don't make Keane play on the wing; defend the wing yes, but attack how you like
Bigal Posted January 23, 2009 Posted January 23, 2009 Could play him right mid. Why stop at Wigan? That would involve getting involved in the game though. Aye, f*** him off all together.
Murphman Posted January 23, 2009 Posted January 23, 2009 That would involve getting involved in the game though. Aye, f*** him off all together. F*cking hell Al, no way back then?
Knox_Harrington Posted January 23, 2009 Posted January 23, 2009 F*cking hell Al, no way back then? I'd f*** him off if it were possible. I'll be easily won back over. Five performances with intelligence, desire and balls would be enough. But currently the idea of watching him disappear on the pitch fills me with dread.
Bigal Posted January 23, 2009 Posted January 23, 2009 F*cking hell Al, no way back then? If he scores the winner on sunday and on 14th March (currently when the match is going to be on) I may change my mind until then. No.
Jarg Armani Posted January 23, 2009 Posted January 23, 2009 I honestly go to every game ready to forgive. I'm not a vindictive football fan. But at the minute i'd be very glad to see him gone.
