muleskinner Posted January 21, 2009 Posted January 21, 2009 They won't do it, we will win the CL at least.
Woodsyla Posted January 21, 2009 Posted January 21, 2009 This morning's injury news has given me some hope.http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/t...utd/7841390.stm Add to the fact that they have another league game to rearrange I can see no downside to yesterday. I don't give a s*** if Utd win the Carling Cup, they won't win all 4 so it's irrelevant. It's just added to their already cramped fixture list and added a few injuries to an already stretched squad. I'm hoping for them to draw at the weekend as well.
Sion Posted January 21, 2009 Posted January 21, 2009 Sky were going on about United 'winning all six' they so want it to happen, f*****s.They'll have to have a massive slice of luck to get past Barca, either someone else knocking them out, or spawning a win, as they're a much better side. If Barca are knocked out then i'd start to worry as there's only really us who could stop them, and we've got a tough enough draw.
aka Dus Posted January 21, 2009 Posted January 21, 2009 If they win even all 3 in England then shame on Liverpool, Chelsea, Arsenal. Bizarre as it sounds, United really aren't that good this year (they won't win the CL) and it would just go to show the shonkyness of our lot if we let it happen.

That's the worst thing, they're really not that good. I think even their fans would admit that they've not played well this year and yet still looking the best in the country.

We've gifted them their current league position already this season.
NWR Posted January 21, 2009 Posted January 21, 2009 (edited) That's the worst thing, they're really not that good. I think even their fans would admit that they've not played well this year and yet still looking the best in the country. If by that you mean we are not playing that well then I and most United fans I know would agree with you. Flasher...it could be that United gifted you your top status until last week. None of the Big 4 have been "Good" this season Edited January 21, 2009 by NWR
Ramón Benítez Hernández Posted January 21, 2009 Posted January 21, 2009 They won't do it, we will win the CL at least. The European Cup

surf Posted January 22, 2009 Posted January 22, 2009 i'll be sufficiently annoyed if they win either the cl or the pl
Jacks Jackie Jackson Posted January 23, 2009 Posted January 23, 2009 I've taken the Buddhist view and accepted already that they have won all four. I'm serene about it now. And if they lose any of them, happiness ensues! See, by simply changing perspective, I've put myself in a win-win situation!
Hassony Posted January 23, 2009 Posted January 23, 2009 we can still win the treble, lets concentrate on that instead
psl Posted March 1, 2009 Author Posted March 1, 2009 Bugger. One down,League looking sewn up,Fulham in the FA Cup quarters. Come on Inter.
Rimbeux Posted March 1, 2009 Posted March 1, 2009 The hope for the rest of the pack is that their manager goes out on a high
alias75 Posted March 1, 2009 Posted March 1, 2009 It hurts to see it but this is the bench mark at the moment that we have to aim for. Its up to the teams around them to step it up and challenge them. Im really looking forward to the day that Ferguson gives it up, im sure he'll want to get number 19 before that happens though.
Sion Posted March 1, 2009 Posted March 1, 2009 we can still win the treble, lets concentrate on that instead good job team, good job
