Favourite bands/singers throughout your life?

Sorry if this has all been done before. I know the “who is your favourite group?” question has been done to death but, I was thinking about the different stages of my life and the music I was into at the time. Obviously we are all different and we all like different music, but I am sure I can get slagged off most for my choices.

Very first music I liked because my Dad played it all the time was Rock and Roll. I used to jump about to Jerry Lee Lewis but I think my Favourite group at that time was The Beatles.

By the time I was 10 years old I was into glam rock and the best out there was Sweet.

13 and I loved Showaddy waddy ( I wish I was not admitting this) I loved Motown and Northern Soul at the time but didn’t have any favourites.

15 and I was mad about Sex Pistols and the Stranglers.

In the Navy just turned 17 and I was introduced to Rock. I could not get enough of Led Zep, Black Sabbath, AC/DC and Pink Floyd. The love of this lots music is still with me today and is often playing in my car.

I left the Navy in83 and stopped going to concerts for a very long time. To me the 80`s and 90`s were s****. I bought loads of Albums that I am to embarrassed to mention, but the only group I couldn’t get enough of was U2

I got back into music in 2000 when I found the Kerrang channel. Today I like the group that everybody here hates. Linkin Park. Went to see them a couple of years back. I was the oldest person there.
