Quick one for you's.

Irish based, over christmas got a letter from LFC with what I thought was a new fancard in it. Looking at it it was a "members card" with my name, fancard number but it has a seat in the Upper Centenary allocated to it. I then read the letter and it made reference to terms and conditions in the season ticket renewal.

Got the chance yesterday when back at work to log into my Fancard Account and it had listed in my purchase history a season ticket purchase and additional ticket for the United game earlier in the season. It even had payment reference numbers which I haven't paid. It also had the re-issue of the card I received in December listed.

I would assume that they have allocated some-one season ticket to me in error. Does the Members card allow access to the games? Is this a new thing or has it always been that way all season. This is the first time I have ever received anything from the club in relation to such an item.

Does this mean that some-one will miss out on a few games until they get the TO to sort it out? Should I contact them and tell them of their error? Or should I turn up for the next home game and fight for my seat!!! Its in my name!!

Any chance someone got it as a Christmas present for you? Unusual for the club to issue a season ticket part way through the season though.

I'd ring them up and ask them to check that you are in the auto cup ticket scheme as well!

You could always ring the ticket office and ask, a bit radical I know but will probably get you a more accurate answer...although with the ticket office that might be a tad over optimistic.

Probably been greedy and hoping to keep the ticket and avoid the TO unless they contact me

It defo wasn't a gift, unless I drew Rick Parry in the Secret Santa draw at Anfield.

Imagine that one, I guarantee he would get you a comedy tie!

I thought it was only Everton that did half-season tickets?

If it was allocated in error and it puts you where a ST season ticket sits - then you haven't got a chance in hell of 'getting away with it'

The ST holder will have had loads of lads they've sat next to for probably years and you'll be turfed out at best. Maybe arrested at worst while they investigate the ticket.

I know if you sat in my seat there would be no f***ing way on Earth I'd "just let you"

how long have you been on the waiting list?

Maybe one has been sent back to the club, unlikely I know, but you never know.

Have only been on the waiting list a few years plus I didn't actually pay anything to them so they'd hardly have allocated one.

Andy @ allteron, I was being tongue in check. Maybe I should have included a :bleh: to highlight this. I wasn't going to just turn up and take someones seat. That would be fun and prob confuse a few stewards with the resulting arguments.
