Logic Posted December 31, 2008 Posted December 31, 2008 Source: http://fotbolti.net/fullStory.php?action=v...ry&id=70695 Quick translation:Liverpool has reached an agreement with AGF in signing Guðlaugur Victor Pálsson. His agent confirms it. Just some formalities left and a medical. He'll train with the first team[probably a reserve player though] This deal has taken a long time to get to this conclusion. GVP is 17 years old and joined AGF last summer. He has played 10 games for the U17 and U18 Icelandic team. And I know nothing about him other than that....
Maldini Posted December 31, 2008 Posted December 31, 2008 (edited) He looks a bit like the real Ronaldo. He's a midfielder who was on trial with us in October according to Gððgle. Edited December 31, 2008 by Maldini
smicer07 Posted December 31, 2008 Posted December 31, 2008 Hope he's as good as Haukur Inge Gudnason.
Magic8Ball Posted December 31, 2008 Posted December 31, 2008 so which is he ? Attacking midfielder ? ( we can only hope ), wide midfielder ? ( not likely, when do we ever buy wingers ),defensive midfielder (ding ding ding you win )
Earl Hafler Posted December 31, 2008 Posted December 31, 2008 So GVP has left AGF to join LFC ? PLTBT.
magneto Posted December 31, 2008 Posted December 31, 2008 Not your average looking Icelander. Neither is Bjork
Sion Posted December 31, 2008 Posted December 31, 2008 Just what the reserves need! more competition for places!
Earl Hafler Posted December 31, 2008 Posted December 31, 2008 And then Gerrard beat him to a pulp for wearing Carra's top. And not playing " Against All Odds "
Magic8Ball Posted December 31, 2008 Posted December 31, 2008 Surely someone knows what type of midfielder this is: DM,CM,LM,RM, AM
antidote Posted December 31, 2008 Posted December 31, 2008 (edited) according to the icelandic lfc site he's big and strong, strong header and with good passes/shooting. He trained with the team before the PSV game and made Hyypia look bad once according to his agent. Dont know what midfield position he plays though Edited December 31, 2008 by antidote
Ombudsam Posted December 31, 2008 Posted December 31, 2008 Surely someone knows what type of midfielder this is: DM,CM,LM,RM, AM FFS!! He's a kid. It doesn't matter. He'll probably be back in Iceland in 2 years. If he's any good you'll find out then. And stop using all those FM terms.
Nerik Posted December 31, 2008 Posted December 31, 2008 (edited) Was this photo also taken at The Lounge Inn pre-2.30am? Edited December 31, 2008 by Nerik

George Costanza Posted December 31, 2008 Posted December 31, 2008 *pre judgement alert more foreign s*** that will clogg up the reserves. The way Rafa and Macia are going we'll have a hundred 'youngsters' in the ressies. Its the good old motto of buying enough s*** one's bound to come good.

Bo Benn Posted January 1, 2009 Posted January 1, 2009 Must be pretty damn good having stolen Carra's squad number.
KD07 Posted January 1, 2009 Posted January 1, 2009 (edited) Hope he's as good as Haukur Inge Gudnason. It's Ingi. Don't knock Hake (as he was called). He was on the bench once. When's the new Bjornebye coming? (That's the real Inge) Edited January 1, 2009 by ::togga::
Internationinteroperability Posted January 2, 2009 Posted January 2, 2009 Hadn't heard about his first name until now Probably because we can't pronounce it here in Denmark. He's an attacking midfielder, has a very strong physique and is technically good. According to AGF's website he was training with the players not in the CL squad when we beat PSV 3-1 (at home). He managed to knock down Hyypiä with his physique in a one-on-one. I was really looking forward to seeing him in the AGF first team but who can blame him for wanting to join Liverpool. It'll be interesting to see if his physical attributes are good enough to make it in English football. He should be able to do well in the reserves though...
Chili Palmer Posted January 2, 2009 Posted January 2, 2009 He managed to knock down Hyypiä with his physique in a one-on-one. as in they were alone in the changing room and Sami fainted after seeing him naked?
Kvarme Ate My Food Posted January 2, 2009 Posted January 2, 2009 Surely someone knows what type of midfielder this is: DM,CM,LM,RM, AM ouch.
