alias75 Posted December 21, 2008 Posted December 21, 2008 Maybe leaving him out and having him kicking his heels on the bench for a couple of games will get him angry enough to stop playing within himself and start playing on instinct. His last 2 games since being in and out of the team have been a huge improvement.
Chili Palmer Posted December 21, 2008 Posted December 21, 2008 or maybe he's just a good player or maybe both
Paddy 66 Posted December 21, 2008 Posted December 21, 2008 or maybe he's just a good playerCos he had really shown that so far this season
muleskinner Posted December 21, 2008 Posted December 21, 2008 Cos he had really shown that so far this season In flashes he had. And for the past 5 years really.

Earl Hafler Posted December 21, 2008 Posted December 21, 2008 . His last 2 games since being in and out of the team have been a huge improvement. Eh ?
madaboutlfc Posted December 21, 2008 Posted December 21, 2008 apart from his goal his contribution was above average and by no means great.. The only positive I think is that he is a second half of the season kind of player..
smithdown Posted December 21, 2008 Posted December 21, 2008 Very good for half hour after his goal. Given himself a big chance. All that sh*te about him not being able to play here or there...just get after the ball and hit it one.
Murphman Posted December 21, 2008 Posted December 21, 2008 He kissed the badge today and gave us a wave after scoring.

The only positive I think is that he is a second half of the season kind of player.. Above average is what we bought though really, I don't think many ever though of him as a great, world beater when he played for spurs. He would have had an assist today had Stevie put that shot past Almunia, I really couldn't believe he didn't score, that was the perfect ball for him.

muleskinner Posted December 22, 2008 Posted December 22, 2008 if only Rafa had done this great bit of man management in September. Its more to do with the player than the manager.
Snoeker Posted December 22, 2008 Posted December 22, 2008 He kissed the badge today and gave us a wave after scoring. AND no fecking pistols
uncle bob Posted December 22, 2008 Posted December 22, 2008 Yeah great man management Keane scores a great goal and works his socks off yet is still subsituted against by then a 10 man aresenal. 11 v 11 a draw is a good result but with Arsenal down to 10 men and we playing much the better football mostly due to Alonso we take a goal scoring striker off and still play with 2 holding midfielders. Gerard and Alonso could of easily bossed the midfield after Fabragas was injured but no caution prevailed and we get yet another draw when three points were there for the taking. When will our manager accept that his overly cautious approach is going to cost us the title this season. Again more important not to lose than to win.
Chili Palmer Posted December 22, 2008 Posted December 22, 2008 Yeah great man management Keane scores a great goal and works his socks off yet is still subsituted against by then a 10 man aresenal. tbf he was subbed because he had worked his socks off. even Keane didn't complain.
Jarg Armani Posted December 22, 2008 Posted December 22, 2008 A draw there is a good result. They're a good side who played with loads of fight once that Togoan lump got sent. We could have won it with a stronger bench. When Keane came off i'd almost forgotten he was there so that can't be seen as negative.
uncle bob Posted December 22, 2008 Posted December 22, 2008 tbf he was subbed because he had worked his socks off. even Keane didn't complain. so by that logic if Keane plays well and works hard he will always be substituted with 20 minutes to go
