Seriously, how much do we pay players like Kuyt, Babel, Lucas. They all control the ball harder than I can shoot. Kuyt in particular - words cannot describe how f***d off I am at the moment. Prefessional footballers, paid thousands a week and train every day and can't control or pass for f*****g toffee.

What f****g gets me though, this isn't a one off whinge, it's nearly every f*****g game. Did Rafa not learn after last weeks shambles against Hull of what happens when you play Kuyt up front on his own? He must have seriously have got something on Rafa, because after last week, then after Keanes wonder goal today, to take him off and revert back to the dross that we had up front last week is senile.

Smartest part of the whole post, well done.

Lucas can be a bit sloppy, but I thought he had another good game. Especially when Arsenal/Fabregas tried to control the midfield he was everywhere.

And well done for all the constructive responses. Do people really have to post that they are putting someone on ignore - very big and clever, well done. Did I say we were schite as a team, did I say that I wasn't happy at being top? No, but dont let any of that haze your rose tinted specs and throw the top of the league response at me when thats got nothing to do with my post.

What I am unhappy about, is getting 4 draws from the last 5 games, when 3 of those games were home games against inferior opposition and having just watched a golden opportunity to stretch our lead go begging (again), when we started to play pub football as soon as Arsenal went down to 10 men. IMO, much of the reason for those is the repeated poor performances of some, particularly the untouchable Kuyt. It's not totally down to him by any means, even players like Alonso and Gerrard stopped passing the ball properly. But never in my life have a seen a striker from a top club with such a poor touch and pass as Kuyt, getting 90 minutes week in week out.

If I'm the only one frustrated by that, and frustrated by Babel's huge potential coupled with his conference league control and passing sometimes. Or frsutrated by Lucas who manages to consistently concede more fouls than any other Liverpool player combined, then fine.

Big time Charlie. Each and every one of those teams proved they were clearly not inferior by, well, not being inferior. If you want guaranteed success, may I suggest you switch allegiance to the Harlem Globetrotters? And I think you'll find the reason Kuyt stays on is that he has a first-class engine and can run and run all day and especially given Arsenal's players today had to do about one-tenth more work than normal after the sending off, this advantage could have been the thing that gave us the edge. Fair play to Arsenal for not letting it happen, I say.

Kuyt's touch can not be criticised.

Of course it can. Its very inconsistent and when he's having an off day/period his touch is absolutely f***ing awful. Its infuriating but he has many other very good aspects to his game.

All players have weaknesses.

What a quite bizzare post. I want guaranteed success? No, I want us to take this superb opportunity we've given ourselves, to try and go and and win the leage that we haven't done so for 19 years. Our fantastic start to the season needs to be capitalised in and repeatedly drawing games is not the way to do it. This isn't justr about today but the last 5 or 6 games. We also need to start being more ruthless with subs and stop making so hard for ourselves by leaving players on the pitch who are having no real impact other than giving the ball away. Game in game out. If you are so sure of youself, take a straw pole and ask how many people agreed with leaving Kuyt on as th lone striker and taking Keane off. also ask if they agreed with leaving Kuyt as lone striker for 90 minutes last week against Hull. I'd bet my last thruppence on what the outcome would be.

As for your points about those other teams not being inferior and calling me a big time charlie, for f***s sake grow up. Look at where those teams end up at the end of the season and then tell me they are not inferior. Of course we've got no divine right to win every game, but if you genuniely believe that drawing at home to Hull, West Ham and Fulham is not points dropped, while also showing alarming signs of lack of creativity against such teams, then I despair.

This group think is really setting in.Kuyt can run all day?! He is supposed to be a footballer, its not just about running wheres the end product? This idea that everyone in the team has to cover every blade of grass is one of the reasons why our attacking play is often laboured, too much emphasis is put on defensive duties i think Rafa would prefer a winger or attacker who is average but who works hard defensively, rather than one who is not so good at helping out the defense.Thats not neccessarily a bad thing but if it is the overiding consideration then we have a problem.

Why shouldn't it be the overriding consideration?

What is the right amount of emphasis to put on defensive duties?
