matlfc Posted December 19, 2008 Posted December 19, 2008 The winner will be showered with praise; the loser will be taunted and booed until my throat is sore!
Bigal Posted December 19, 2008 Posted December 19, 2008 Liiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiverpool hoof the ball cant wait c****
Chili Palmer Posted December 19, 2008 Posted December 19, 2008 Pepe Arbeloa Carra Agger Aurelio Mash Xabi Kuyt Gerrard Riera either Babel or Keane not to sure about the centre forward, I think Keane could play well against this lot, whereas Babel needs to strat playing and delivering, Rafa will no doubt play N'gog
AE Posted December 19, 2008 Posted December 19, 2008 I reckon Keane will start this one Agree. Not using him against Hull was a Rafa masterstroke. Now against Arsenal he can be let go. I honestly reckon he WILL have a very good game. (and if not, sell the **** in January!! )

Bo Benn Posted December 19, 2008 Posted December 19, 2008 personally I think Keane will start but would rather see Babel up there
Alonso Posted December 20, 2008 Posted December 20, 2008 Arsene saw something This will be the equivalent of Garcia's "phantom" goal for poor old Wenger.
CarraLegend Posted December 20, 2008 Posted December 20, 2008 I hate playing these t***s, their fans have been bellends at Anfield in recent years with the full range of in your liverpool slums, sign on, type songs and the away games with these is 90mins of "hoof" if one of your defenders dare clear the ball. Oh and "Liverpool HOOF the ball" as Clichy punts yet another ball for Adebayor to head.
stressederic Posted December 20, 2008 Posted December 20, 2008 Aurelio won't be fit for this one according to Sammy Lee
CaptainXabi Posted December 20, 2008 Posted December 20, 2008 Aurelio won't be fit for this one according to Sammy LeeA rare Aurelio injury.
Sion Posted December 20, 2008 Posted December 20, 2008 "Liverpool HOOF the ball" That's right bellend-ish that oneLike they have some sort of moral high ground because pundits w*** over their style of football.
John am Rhein Posted December 20, 2008 Posted December 20, 2008 They'll be covered in our hoof-prints this time tomorrow
Nerik Posted December 20, 2008 Posted December 20, 2008 Toure to miss the game. Big loss for them I think and he always seems to do well against us. Is Silvestre injured too? That means Gallas-Djorou as a CB pairing in all probability.
Rory Fitzgerald Posted December 20, 2008 Posted December 20, 2008 Villa won tonight away to the Hammers, 0-1 with a very fortunate deflection (buggar I had draw HT/Hammers FT at 6/1). It leaves the table looking like this 3. Villa Played 18 Pts 344. Utd Played 16 325. Ars Played 17 30 I fully expected Arsenal to go out looking for a win tomorrow but do you think they will be especially looking for a win given Villas good result. Or from our point of view, the longer the game goes at 0-0, the more chances the gunners will take meaning if the game stays at 0-0 until the 2nd half, Rafa might contain the players for a long time and then given a more definite signal to attack more on the counter attack and send on someone like Babel. Essentially, do you think we will be purposefully be defensive until the 70th min or so if the game is still 0-0 and then look to exploit Arsenal if they come forward in waves trying to win the game ?

I don't think even Rafa is that rigid in his plans, I would love it if he was though. Just imagine, a brilliant defensive display until the 69th minute, Rafa strides toward the touchline, a look of fear strikes Wengers face as Rafa bellows 'Attack formation 27' , the team all run to their mighty ducks flying V formation, the Arsenal team look at each other confused. unfortunatly Keane faces the wrong way and is subbed... Cam Posted December 20, 2008 Posted December 20, 2008 bellows 'Attack formation 27' , the team all run to their mighty ducks flying V formation... When I'm daydreaming about being the manager that's exactly how I do it.
Chili Palmer Posted December 20, 2008 Posted December 20, 2008 When I'm daydreaming about being the manager that's exactly how I do it. haha, yeah me too!! be a laugh to see.

Stop, you're killing me
Chili Palmer Posted December 20, 2008 Posted December 20, 2008 Stop, you're killing me sorry, went off on one there! In answer to your original question, I think Rafa will definatly use the fact that Arsenal will now feel they now need the win not only to stay in contention for the league, but also to stay in contention for 4th place. I think Babel is a cert now to be kept until his normal 60-65th minute appearance.
