Inspired by Kvarme's post on the Guilty Pleasures thread where he claims his first purchase was released when I was (I reckon) in my final year at university. Ffs.

 

Would be easy to try and give a "cool" answer here but f*ck it - the first time I went into a record shop and bought a single off my own bat was ...er..."Rivers of Babylon" by Boney M. I've always loved black music.
