Nice work! Get a pay off from a s*** club a few weeks ago then get the Madrid job!

Though a heavy defeat against Barca on the weekend and he'll probably get the boot.

heh heh. Keane legged it before he went to Old Trafford, Shuster gets it before they play Barca. funny how these things work out.

Sounds like you've got a nasty cold there, Swipe. Could be flu, even. I'd stay home if I were you

I'm sure he was doomed anyway, but coming out to the press and saying "we can't beat Barcelona this weekend" was a bit of a daft thing for Schuster to say. Didn't smack of mind games, just of feeble defeatism. Can't remember a manager of a top team saying such a thing.

can you get odds for Ramos being sacked before the end of the next transfer window.

maybe Real just wanted to put a Spaniard in charge.

is this guy just keeping the seat warm for somebody else?

Well, following on from his time at Spurs, at least Ramos isn't walking into a club with the same kind of haphazard transfer policy and fundamentally unbalanced squad...

Good News there, don't want any distractions for Rafa even made up press ones.

Am i the only one who thinks that Rafa will never manage Real unless they change their ways?

He likes to be the one in power and thats not the case in Spain but even less so in Madrid. They have no respect for and dont trust their managers, sacking them at an instant. I cant see him considering Madrid if they come in Jan/next year/ the year after that etc.

Ramos is a very good manager,no doubt about it.

Just had a few problems settling in with the language, ridiculous expectations, and god knows what their transfer policies are all about at Spurs.

Absolutely. Its hard to know what goes on behind the scenes at Spurs and Ramos had realy difficulties dealing with the language barrier. May prove to be an OK appointment but it all depends on his start this weekend!
