Sion Posted December 4, 2008 Posted December 4, 2008 If Blackburn play anything like they did versus Chelsea at Ewood we should murder them. Gaps everywhere. No doubt they'll play a blinder and park the bus. Reina Arbeloa Agger Carra Dossena Mascherano Alonso Babel Gerrard Kuyt Keane
Rory Fitzgerald Posted December 4, 2008 Posted December 4, 2008 Whoever is designated as the CF then they better kucFing play there. The last thing we need is either Keane or Kuyt or both playing deeper than Mascherano. My big problem last season with Voronin and Kuyt was that they wanted to be everywhere except in the box.

Cobs Posted December 4, 2008 Posted December 4, 2008 pepe Arbeloa Carra Agger Doss Masch Xabi Kuyt Gerrard Babel Keane (or Cobs) my best work comes in a 442 where i can drift wide and use my searing pace like Henry in his pomp
fred milne Posted December 4, 2008 Posted December 4, 2008 pepe Arbeloa Carra Agger Doss Masch Xabi Kuyt Gerrard Babel KeaneSensible enough, although I might be tempted to bring in Riera for Keane and move Babel up front.
Nebraska Red Posted December 4, 2008 Posted December 4, 2008 (edited) I think we'll fare better at Blackburn than we have at home recently. The pressure is on Blackburn to go for a win as they are desperate for points. Hopefully, we can exploit this and grab a couple of goals. pepe Arbeloa Carra Agger Doss Masch Xabi Babel Gerrard Riera Kuyt I am not sure that Keane is the man to lead the line on his own up front. Molby Posted December 4, 2008 Posted December 4, 2008 where is the gastro pub or the like, that's on the outskirts, on the way in from Liverpool? alternatively, a Macdonalds and a pub where we can drink prematch

Bigal Posted December 4, 2008 Posted December 4, 2008 where is the gastro pub or the like, that's on the outskirts, on the way in from Liverpool? alternatively, a Macdonalds and a pub where we can drink prematch there is a massive pub just for away fans, begins with Fen I think but I cant remember the name
Clay Davis Posted December 4, 2008 Posted December 4, 2008 It'll be absolute horse silage if we don't win this game. I think Blackburn are a really poor side.
sutty Posted December 4, 2008 Posted December 4, 2008 I am thinking, t-shirt, jumper, big coat.... Woolen Hat Scarf Tshirt - Thin Jumper - Thick jumper/zip up top - Big Coat Apple catchers (snug fit) Jeans Socks Socks Trainees (non Canvas) I've gone for hat, scarf and layers at the business end, some options around zip up top v thick jumper depending on how things look saturday morning. Snug fit apple catchers for warmth factor and support. Not sure about the jeans at the moment, they don't dry quickly but at the same time, canvas/cotton don't have the same warming qualities... And I've gone for the non canvas trainees there, if they are available (couldn't find them this morning)

Jacks Jackie Jackson Posted December 4, 2008 Posted December 4, 2008 there is a massive pub just for away fans, begins with Fen I think but I cant remember the name Fernhurst. But it's just too boisterous in there for a delicate gentleman like myself. I shall in fact be venturing into a corporate box for this one (for the first time ever!) and apparently we get picked up by a Rovers vehicle and taken to the ground, fed and watered, and then we're brought back home after! How do you like them granny smiths, peasants?
