Hassony Posted December 4, 2008 Posted December 4, 2008 Not a great shock and I remember a couple of posters putting his name forward as a future liverpool manager not so long ago!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Herbie von Smalls Posted December 4, 2008 Posted December 4, 2008 not like him to walk out of a situation when things aren't going his way
Maldini Posted December 4, 2008 Posted December 4, 2008 I'd say that's the last we'll see of him in football. Surprised he just gave up though. Wonder who they'll get to replace him. O'Leary? Graham? Curbishley? Who else is available?
Romario Posted December 4, 2008 Posted December 4, 2008 I don't understand this one at all. I don't remember the tabloids putting any pressure on him. Was it self induced? Was their stuff going on behind closed doors? So by walking is he saying Management isn't for him or is it just the "situation" at Sunderland that doesn't tickle him? (whatever that might have been)

Murphman Posted December 4, 2008 Posted December 4, 2008 probably didn't want the humiliation of Ferguson/United humping them senseless on Saturday Sunderland having a post manager bounce and beating United on Sunday would make my year, f*ck the recession.
Hassony Posted December 4, 2008 Posted December 4, 2008 probably didn't want the humiliation of Ferguson/United humping them senseless on Saturday and the fans were getting on his back I think he will get back into management, look at how many failures Robson had It will be funny if both Keane and Ince (hopefully after a thrashing by us) will lose their jobs in less than a week
Maldini Posted December 4, 2008 Posted December 4, 2008 Fat Sam Good shout, I'd say his ego would love to be successful with them to annoy Newcastle fans
Stevie H Posted December 4, 2008 Posted December 4, 2008 Fat Samshoo-in. unless someone more irish is available.

Kvarme Ate My Food Posted December 4, 2008 Posted December 4, 2008 I was hoping Keane would get the Man U job before he turned out to be s***
