Boca Posted November 25, 2008 Posted November 25, 2008 From France Football apparantly http://www.liverpoolecho.co.uk/liverpool-f...00252-22335307/ You've got to love the man.
Sion Posted November 25, 2008 Posted November 25, 2008 The thing I love so much about him is that he genuinely seems like a player with integrity, which is so rare nowadays.
whitewidow Posted November 25, 2008 Posted November 25, 2008 You've got to love the man. Massive "Come and Get Me" plea...
Snookie Posted November 25, 2008 Posted November 25, 2008 The thing I love so much about him is that he genuinely seems like a player with integrity, which is so rare nowadays. Absolutely.I love the description of what fans can give: "With just 45,000 fans there, that roar they give makes you think you have wings on your feet." Maybe that should be printed on tickets for all home games to remind people of their responsibilities and value after the game on Saturday.
Smith Posted November 25, 2008 Posted November 25, 2008 Tears in my eyes and shivers down my spine reading that... No, honest. He just seems so... nice. And well-spoken. Is he even human?
aka Dus Posted November 25, 2008 Posted November 25, 2008 Obvious snub to Xabi Alonso there. Xabi > Xavi...
johngibo YPC Posted November 25, 2008 Author Posted November 25, 2008 I love the way i genuinely like so many of our players as humans at the momentAll the Spanish lads are boss
Ronnie Whelan Posted November 25, 2008 Posted November 25, 2008 Absolutely.I love the description of what fans can give: "With just 45,000 fans there, that roar they give makes you think you have wings on your feet." Maybe that should be printed on tickets for all home games to remind people of their responsibilities and value after the game on Saturday. Tickets for this weekends game should read 'the boos they give makes you think you have concrete blocks on your feet'
Billy Dane Posted November 25, 2008 Posted November 25, 2008 Absolutely.I love the description of what fans can give: "With just 45,000 fans there, that roar they give makes you think you have wings on your feet." Maybe that should be printed on tickets for all home games to remind people of their responsibilities and value after the game on Saturday. Put it above the turnstiles outside the ground as well.
Ronnie Whelan Posted November 25, 2008 Posted November 25, 2008 Is it merely a coincidence that Carra also made quotes on how important the fans are?
Barnesy_10 Posted November 26, 2008 Posted November 26, 2008 Liverpool striker Fernando Torres claims he wants to stay at the club for life. (Various)
johngibo YPC Posted November 26, 2008 Author Posted November 26, 2008 i reckon when he is 60 we should sell him
Chili Palmer Posted November 26, 2008 Posted November 26, 2008 i reckon when he is 60 we should sell him he doesn't age. he's gonna look and play like this forever. its the deal he made with god.
Tosh Posted November 26, 2008 Posted November 26, 2008 he doesn't age. he's gonna look and play like this forever. its the deal he made with god. Why would he make a deal with a lesser being?
Barnesy_10 Posted November 26, 2008 Posted November 26, 2008 Hes got that disease that Ralph Macchio has got, where he looks 16 forever.
ManxRed Posted November 26, 2008 Posted November 26, 2008 Hes got that disease that Ralph Macchio has got, where he looks 16 forever. Like Angus Young out of AC/DC?
Tommy Cockles Posted November 26, 2008 Posted November 26, 2008 Torres is over rated. He's a poor man's Dean Saunders.
Hassony Posted November 26, 2008 Posted November 26, 2008 Torres is over rated. He's a poor man's Dean Saunders. Saunders must have the most boring voice on TV ever, he is probably even worse than Platt!
Duncan Disorderly Posted November 26, 2008 Posted November 26, 2008 Saunders must have the most boring voice on TV ever, he is probably even worse than Platt!No-one sounds as dull as Michael Owen. With Torres, I haven't had the feeling of such excitement in a player since Dalglish.
Joxer Posted November 26, 2008 Posted November 26, 2008 Badly needs a goal does Fernando, for confidence if nothing else. Was thinking if we had of got a pen i'd have given it to him.
madskilz Posted November 26, 2008 Posted November 26, 2008 Badly needs a goal does Fernando, for confidence if nothing else. Was thinking if we had of got a pen i'd have given it to him. Just slightly rusty at the moment and he has'nt exactly had the best service in the last few games. Hopefully against West Ham he'll start on another one of his scoring runs.
Coyler Posted November 26, 2008 Posted November 26, 2008 Very blunt to-night. Looks fecking cheesed off with himself as well.
