Mr S Posted November 14, 2008 Posted November 14, 2008 I was talking to a senior administrator of LFC today. He told me that while he does not know all that goes on he does know the following: 1. There are very serious concerns about the renegotiation of the RBS debt. The word inside the club is that they are highly unlikely to be able to renegotiate it. There is even word that they are going to have to think about administration. Nobody wants to think about it but suggestions are that they might well have to.Much of this, of course, we know but it's a reaffirmation. 2. Apparently the Sheik made a £500m take it or walk away offer to H and G last Friday. H and G walked away. It's difficult to understand what their game is. If RBS don't renegotiate the debt then they are in serious trouble and will have to sell. But the chances are that the Sheik or anyone else is then going to drop the price and H amd G will lose out. So why don't they take the £500m ? Answers on a postcard please. I don't know, I just don't get their game.
Chili Palmer Posted November 14, 2008 Posted November 14, 2008 if there were fears of administation they wouldn't turn down £500 million.
downunder Posted November 14, 2008 Posted November 14, 2008 if there were fears of administation they wouldn't turn down £500 million. I was talking to a board member last week, and says nothing has changed since March, not sure what that means but he didn't mention administration.
RP Posted November 14, 2008 Posted November 14, 2008 Can you talk us through all the implications of a company going into administration?

CarraLegend Posted November 14, 2008 Posted November 14, 2008 Nope But here is what concerns me the most of the whole process10 Point Deduction That good enough? That would be the last thing to worry about.
Guest Snorky Posted November 14, 2008 Posted November 14, 2008 Yeah, thought that'd be about the extent of it. care to enlighten us then ?
downunder Posted November 14, 2008 Posted November 14, 2008 I understand that RBS could force us to sell to any offer that is place rather than put us in administration, I could be wrong but someone did tell me that. Th person was s enior lawyer, and has nothing to do with LFC though.
RP Posted November 14, 2008 Posted November 14, 2008 care to enlighten us then ? I ask the questions round here.

Is this senior administrator a friend of yours or did you just happen to meet him, bring up the subject and he spilled a load of info? Just curious.
Guest Snorky Posted November 14, 2008 Posted November 14, 2008 I ask the questions round here. oh, is that what you call it ?
RP Posted November 14, 2008 Posted November 14, 2008 oh, is that what you call it ? It is. the clue was the "?" at the end.
downunder Posted November 14, 2008 Posted November 14, 2008 oh, is that what you call it ? this site is like LFC - the owners arguing in public!

Guest Snorky Posted November 14, 2008 Posted November 14, 2008 It is. the clue was the "?" at the end. But you can quite clearly see in your original question/post the '?' is missing.
RP Posted November 14, 2008 Posted November 14, 2008 But you can quite clearly see in your original question/post the '?' is missing. Hmmm. "Can you talk us through all the implications of a company going into administration?"
Guest Snorky Posted November 14, 2008 Posted November 14, 2008 Hmmm."Can you talk us through all the implications of a company going into administration?" How can you do that ?
RP Posted November 14, 2008 Posted November 14, 2008 What? Ask a question? It's easy - you've even done it yourself, see? And I've done it three times in this very post. It's a piece of p***.
