Barnesy_10 Posted November 12, 2008 Posted November 12, 2008 s****..... lets hope Rafa doesn't stick with him in the hope he at some point comes good. Fortunately it looks like he sees Aurelio as first choice.
lawrie Posted November 12, 2008 Posted November 12, 2008 I've been saying all over the shop that he'll come good sooner or later - I truly hope its sooner
Bootle Buck Posted November 12, 2008 Posted November 12, 2008 I have seen hundreds of Sunday League FB's that could surely do better than that tonight. He looks lost and his positioning is schoolboyesque. I would seriously off load him back to Italy in January at a loss.
Guest JV Posted November 12, 2008 Posted November 12, 2008 I've been saying all over the shop that he'll come good sooner or later - I truly hope its soonerHe wasn't that good in Italy from what I saw.
smithdown Posted November 12, 2008 Posted November 12, 2008 Hope he gets burgled. Or framed for the other robberies. He looks the type.
Scapegoat Posted November 12, 2008 Posted November 12, 2008 He'll come good given the chance. Aurelio is due an injury soon. But tbh, Insua i think is as ready now as he will ever be. So i could easily see Rafa flogging Dossena back to Italy. He's a good player, but sometimes it just doesn't work out, plain to see the lad has no confidence atm, needs an arm round him i'd say.
Mike Posted November 12, 2008 Posted November 12, 2008 dossena has not shown any evidence whatsoever that he is a good player in any appearance for liverpool.

smithdown Posted November 13, 2008 Posted November 13, 2008 (edited) Even more reason to be grateful for the ball-keeping, dribbling skills of our good friend Albie Riera this season. If he'd have lost the ball half the time he looked as if he would, we'd be in sh*t street every five minutes with fatar*se there. Edited November 13, 2008 by smithdown
Zoob Posted November 13, 2008 Posted November 13, 2008 If he can lose a stone, get some confidence, remember how to pass, dribble, tackle, and get his defensive positioning right, I think we'll have a good player on our hands... He just looks absolutely miserable, like he doesn't want to be here. Once we sell him - which I imagine we will do sooner rather than later since Rafa doesn't linger with his bad purchases - Wouldn't suprise me if he ends up playing well back in Serie A

CaptainXabi Posted November 13, 2008 Posted November 13, 2008 Come back John - all is forgiven...Whoa, let's slow down
Stevie H Posted November 13, 2008 Posted November 13, 2008 Come back John - all is forgiven...it f***ing isn't.
fyds Posted November 13, 2008 Posted November 13, 2008 Dossena had a shocker tonight. On principle he gets this season and the first few games of next to find himself like so many others, here and at other clubs. After that....
floyd Posted November 13, 2008 Posted November 13, 2008 Ship him home for a mediocre huge lossQuote is in keeping with official LFC policy
Barnesy_10 Posted November 13, 2008 Posted November 13, 2008 Should never have sold Warnock, think he would have improved alongside both Agger and Jamie.
