Get ready for new Real Madrid approach to Rafa. They've been knocked out of the Spanish Cup by a third division team called Real Union. A bit like the T&G, I suppose.

Of course, when I said they'd lost last night, I actually meant they'd won, but only 4-3, which of course is a loss in my book.

 

they did go out of the Spanish cup on the away goals rule though.

To be fair, you never said they'd lost, just that they'd been knocked out. Or knocked up - can't remember which now.

I'm confident that Real Madrid won't appeal to Rafa. There'd be no continuity for him, no control of developing a side.

Spain has just brought in restricitions on immigration from Hungary, so Rafa won't go there.
