growler Posted November 9, 2008 Posted November 9, 2008 The top 4 in place, the next two in place. Its just the order of the top 4, and whether its villa or everton for 5th again. Unless the race for the top (or the bottom) is close points wise, I can't see the interest in the premier league keeping up. I mean, are Villa or Everton or any other club really going to pick up more points than the top 4 between now and the end of the season? I ain't complaining because we joint top, but it does beg the question how many teams need to be in with a chance at the top to maintain interest. Scotland and spain only have two teams who will win the title or even realistically challenge. Italy is recently going through some changes but Juve, Milan, Inter and Roma will always be there. France is just 1 team and the rest. I guess the question is, what is a great competition? We have four teams going for the title is that the best of the leagues? If so, has the CL then been a good thing?
smithdown Posted November 9, 2008 Posted November 9, 2008 Who can say they really know anything about anything? What's done is done. That's the main thing.
