jimmylibel Posted November 5, 2008 Posted November 5, 2008 Just wondering if he did anything after the match was over ie come down to clap the Kop etc?
Guest Snorky Posted November 5, 2008 Posted November 5, 2008 If he did I never saw it. All I saw was him walking off with his arms around our Spanish lads, didn't even swap his shirt.
Guy_Incognito Posted November 5, 2008 Posted November 5, 2008 He got a standing ovation when he came on though, which I thought was quite decent. Especially as we were 1-0 down in the 90th minute at the time. God, we're good...
Guest Snorky Posted November 5, 2008 Posted November 5, 2008 I've just seen Torres' reaction to our goal Looked just like an away fan in the home end, didn't want to celebrate but couldn't resist punching the air, even though the punching of the air action was lower than a snakes belly
Ronnie Whelan Posted November 5, 2008 Posted November 5, 2008 I've just seen Torres' reaction to our goal Looked just like an away fan in the home end, didn't want to celebrate but couldn't resist punching the air, even though the punching of the air action was lower than a snakes belly The coverage went to him a few times during the match, no hiding where his loyalties lie these days!
Tosh Posted November 5, 2008 Posted November 5, 2008 I heard somewhere that he has an armband that says he's a red
DanielS Posted November 5, 2008 Posted November 5, 2008 (edited) Hardly the time to go to the home fans for Garcia when his side had just conceded the lead to a dubious penalty that half of them had been booked for arguing about. Edited November 5, 2008 by DanielS
Behind Enemy Lines Posted November 5, 2008 Posted November 5, 2008 Just wondering if he did anything after the match was over ie come down to clap the Kop etc?Tetti kidnapped him
jimmylibel Posted November 5, 2008 Author Posted November 5, 2008 (edited) Tetti has been mysterious absent since! Thanks for the info everyone... was curious to see what he'd do but the TV coverage cut away. Edited November 5, 2008 by jimmylibel
Tommy Cockles Posted November 5, 2008 Posted November 5, 2008 The coverage went to him a few times during the match, no hiding where his loyalties lie these days! A few times? Are you kidding. They never stopped, looking for the slightest movment of his lips, hair ANYTHING that might betray and emotion to anything that happened. He's a Liverpool player who used to play for the opposition. Big f***ing deal. Who cares. On an equally shallow, pointless and flat-out vacuous theme, am I alone in thinking his Mrs is a bit plain?
Hassony Posted November 5, 2008 Posted November 5, 2008 On an equally shallow, pointless and flat-out vacuous theme, am I alone in thinking his Mrs is a bit plain? to be fair, Sitting next to him most girls would look plain!

They did stop to show a replay of the Pens athletico should have had! Re: Torres bird im with Hassony. Its very hard for her.
johngibo YPC Posted November 5, 2008 Posted November 5, 2008 Indeed, even i'd look a bit plain next to Nando
Bootser Posted November 6, 2008 Posted November 6, 2008 On an equally shallow, pointless and flat-out vacuous theme, am I alone in thinking his Mrs is a bit plain? In an equally shallow, pointless and flat-out vacuous reply I'd say 'Si'.
Leo No.8 Posted November 7, 2008 Posted November 7, 2008 I'd say El Nino could certainly do better in terms of his bird's looks, but she might be a lovely girl with a great personality and they are childhood sweethearts, so to be honest it only endears me to him more that his other half isn't a dolly bird. He's an incredibly down to earth lad considering his footballing ability and image. A shining beacon of genius allied with humility and decency in a sea of vacuous, unpleasant professional footballers like Rio Ferdinand and Joey Barton.

The same can be said about the other spanish players we have in the team, if only they were less racist
fred milne Posted November 7, 2008 Posted November 7, 2008 The same can be said about the other spanish players we have in the team, if only they were less racistEh?
jimmylibel Posted November 7, 2008 Author Posted November 7, 2008 The same can be said about the other spanish players we have in the team, if only they were less racist According to Bellamy (via Carra's book) Xabi is punching well above his weight.
The Hitman Posted November 7, 2008 Posted November 7, 2008 A shining beacon of genius allied with humility and decencyThe real Liverpool Way.All our best players have had it.The Mancs on the other hand....
johngibo YPC Posted November 7, 2008 Posted November 7, 2008 According to Bellamy (via Carra's book) Xabi is punching well above his weight. Impossible. Xabi is bloody gorgeous
honourablegeorge Posted November 7, 2008 Posted November 7, 2008 According to Bellamy (via Carra's book) Xabi is punching well above his weight. Xabi's bird is ace.
_00_deathscar Posted November 7, 2008 Posted November 7, 2008 She looks a bit like him! That's probably why she's ace. She was born lucky then. I wish I looked like Xabi...
