Leo No.8 Posted October 25, 2008 Posted October 25, 2008 Haven't been around for the last few weeks as my wife gave birth to our first child on the 30th September, a little girl Charlotte Beatrice who arrived one week early weighing 7lbs 2 oz, and is curled up on the couch with me as I'm typing this. It has been a truly incredible, life changing experience and already I can't imagine what life was like before she arrived. Sleepless nights, changing nappies its worth every last second you give to be blessed with this perfect little person. The only thing I've found difficult is how small, delicate and unspeakably precious she is; it really is scary at times how great the responsibility is and how totally reliant they are on you to look after them, but I'm getting more confident every day, And of course she is a little red in the making; I can't wait to get Charlotte her first little Liverpool shirt and take her to the match in years to come, although for those who have girls it must be difficult to do that and not make them into a tomboy! Life will certainly never be the same again, it feels fantastic to be a Dad!
