Arnie Posted October 22, 2008 Posted October 22, 2008 (edited) *We rely on the forums of the best LFC sites on the Net (with their prior permission) to promote our articles.* I recently did a series of exclusive interviews with Liverpool legends for my website LFChistory.net. First up is Liverpool's record appearance holder, Ian Callaghan. Besides his record of 857 games! he was the first Liverpool player to be chosen Footballer of the year in 1974, the only player who played in Liverpool's first European game in Reykjavik in 1964, who won the European Cup in 1977, and a record gap of 11 years seperated his 2nd and 3rd international cap for England when he made his long awaited return at 35 years of age. So a truly monumental player. http://www.lfchistory.net/redcorner_articl...article_id=2244 Hope you enjoy... next week we'll publish an interview with the tough-tackling legend... Gerry Byrne, who hardly does any interviews, but Callaghan persuaded him to talk to us. Cheers, Arnie editor of LFChistory.net Edited October 22, 2008 by Arnie
