Why Steven Gerrard is not behind the striker always?

some people say , If Gerrard behind strikers he is can make Liverpool win always

 

The problem, Why Rafa set him front Defender?

Part of the reason is that we have Robbie Keane to do that and Rafa isn't rotating as much.

As Ant said, Keane is now playing in that position but ideally with Gerrard breaking forward from his Central positition as much as possible. Its working so far this season!

But it's working well thus far, I reckon Gerrard can play anywhere to a high level, but I think we have found the right balance.

but they will only buy if Gerrard is played in the hole!

But it's working well thus far, I reckon Gerrard can play anywhere to a high level, but I think we have found the right balance.

 

I think we are just touching the surface. Gerrard is now showing how good he can be in different roles consistently for Liverpool, Riera is new, Torres is scoring while playing crap (by his standards!). I think there is a s***load of upside yet in this team.
