Jacks Jackie Jackson Posted October 13, 2008 Posted October 13, 2008 All power to Anne's elbow. Let's hope this time justice falls on the side of the just.
smithdown Posted October 13, 2008 Posted October 13, 2008 Quote After exhausting every avenue in this country, she has now taken her case to the European Court of Human Rights: Williams versus the United Kingdom. How did she feel when she read those intimidating words on the official documents? She thinks for a moment. ‘I was proud of that,’ she says. ‘I’d got our Kevin into Europe.’ I like Mrs Williams. Well done to the MoS eh? Cheers for posting that, Gibbo.

Falconhoof Posted October 13, 2008 Posted October 13, 2008 Very moving. The courage she has shown to keep fighting is incredible.
kop205 Posted October 13, 2008 Posted October 13, 2008 Very difficult read, but well worth the effort. His first away game. Christ. Justice.
surf Posted October 13, 2008 Posted October 13, 2008 great article, everyone should read it please keep it on this forum
Spike Posted October 13, 2008 Posted October 13, 2008 Very moving and powerful. Hope that Anne gets the justice that she so rightly deserves. To have the strength to fight for so long is something that is simply humbling.
Guest Snorky Posted October 13, 2008 Posted October 13, 2008 Great and horrible read at the same time.
psl Posted October 13, 2008 Posted October 13, 2008 Anyone who hasn't read it should buy Hillsborough : The Truth by Phil Scraton. Its a brilliant book. Someone recommended to me on here that I should read it years ago. Did so and couldn't believe what I read. Haven't bought a copy of The Sun since. For a Liverpool fan from Dorset who was 9 years old at the time, it really brought home what happened that day. Essential reading for any fan of the club really.

I have a copy sat on the shelf unread. I still can't bring myself to read it. I also have a copy of the official government report there on my bookshelf, again unread. Just can't bring myself to revisit it all very much and each year I say i'm going to go to the memorial service but haven't been able to so far.
