TFU Posted October 6, 2008 Posted October 6, 2008 For a few years now we've seemed to have gotten into the habbit of taking a team shot (usually indoors by the look of the lighting) then superimposed it on to a shot of the stadium. I think there were a few instances where some of the players heads looked superimposed. Looking at other clubs team photos, this does not happen anywhere else? I know its a small thing, but it is odd! and frankly it annoys me IS this another Parry c**k up? Team Photo on the offal
Ben 23 Posted October 6, 2008 Posted October 6, 2008 (edited) Looks like a video game. Riera looks way too big. Compare his body to Insua. Edited October 6, 2008 by Ben 23
Crazy Horse Posted October 6, 2008 Posted October 6, 2008 Lots of backroom staff in the photo. In the good old days it'd just be Bob, Ronnie and Roy.
Maldini Posted October 6, 2008 Posted October 6, 2008 It's just not the same without Crouchie looking weird. Sammy Lee really is tiny though isn't he, he makes Spearing look like a giant and he's a midget himself
McBain Posted October 6, 2008 Posted October 6, 2008 That's the best of recent years. Previous ones looked far worse
Falconhoof Posted October 6, 2008 Posted October 6, 2008 Not a lot wrong with that photo, its a squad photo, not sure what people expect ?I can't really enjoy a team photo unless there's silverware at the front.
Paisley Posted October 6, 2008 Posted October 6, 2008 Looks like a video game. Riera looks way too big. Compare his body to Insua. That looks crap - it's not the same if it's fake. Even the carlsberg sign, bags and bottles (with shadow) are superimposed on. Plus where's Steve Ogrizivic?
Duncan Disorderly Posted October 6, 2008 Posted October 6, 2008 Please Sir, can I ask a question? How the f*ck can you tell any of that when the picture is so small?
Hassony Posted October 6, 2008 Posted October 6, 2008 Please Sir, can I ask a question? How the f*ck can you tell any of that when the picture is so small? here
Barnesy_10 Posted October 6, 2008 Posted October 6, 2008 love the way Aurelio looks like a school kid who has won a competition to meet the players..
aka Dus Posted October 6, 2008 Posted October 6, 2008 Not a lot wrong with that photo, its a squad photo, not sure what people expect ?I can't really enjoy a team photo unless there's silverware at the front. It's bloody rubbish man!
Falconhoof Posted October 6, 2008 Posted October 6, 2008 We should demand the greatest squad photograph ever taken! SOS should be all over this.
Superjay Posted October 6, 2008 Posted October 6, 2008 I can never remember the dudes name, Top Row 3 from right, but he looks like the shrunken headed man from beetlejuice.
LondonRed Posted October 7, 2008 Posted October 7, 2008 Player pictures ...should have just used this instead
Guest the bomber Posted October 7, 2008 Posted October 7, 2008 I know the guy who does the team and player photo's. They are taken at Melwood in the indoor hall under studio lighting and he then has to go to Anfield to take a photo of the stadium but can only do this on a sunny day as the lighting would be all wrong. Its all photoshopped then until you end up with the mess that is the official photo! He is baffled as to why the club won't just get the players to go to Anfield in the first place.
PhilM Posted October 7, 2008 Posted October 7, 2008 Why is Draco Malfoy in the front row next to Torres?
Bo Benn Posted October 7, 2008 Posted October 7, 2008 (edited) Half the players look like they're CGI. In a clever money-saving scheme the club decided that the traditional squad photo will be replaced by the player's drawings from Pro Evo Soccer. Edited October 7, 2008 by obey Hysén
Bootle Buck Posted October 8, 2008 Posted October 8, 2008 The players look like they came from Madame Tusaud's.
Guest Snorky Posted October 8, 2008 Posted October 8, 2008 why are most of them not smiling? Photoshop 3.2 comes with smiley face option, but Parry said we could only afford Photoshop 3.1.
