Sir Tokyo Sexwale Posted September 18, 2008 Posted September 18, 2008 Stoke are a horrible bunch of c**** - their fans. A bit like the city really
Rory Fitzgerald Posted September 18, 2008 Posted September 18, 2008 (edited) Skrtel to stand in front of Delap as he 'attempts' to take the throw in and stewards to have poop-scoops to remove the droppings from the side line. Edited September 18, 2008 by Rory Fitzgerald
stressederic Posted September 18, 2008 Posted September 18, 2008 I'd take a 1-0 but I really want us to stamp them into the dirt and send out such a big message to everyone else. Plus it'd scare the crap out of Everton.
Rory Fitzgerald Posted September 18, 2008 Posted September 18, 2008 With Utd and Chelsea playing each other, we cant afford to shoot ourselves in the foot especaially with 2 difficult away games in City and Everton coming up.
Paul_LFC Posted September 18, 2008 Posted September 18, 2008 I can't sleep until I know the ref. If it's either Atkinson or Marriner, we may as well bring stress balls to the match.
Logic Posted September 18, 2008 Posted September 18, 2008 Just seen those throw-ins from Delap.... F*ck me! Those could pose a problem or two!
Stevie H Posted September 19, 2008 Posted September 19, 2008 aren't delap's throw-ins technically foul throws? it looks like the ball leaves from only one hand, almost like a shot putt or a goalkeeper's throw. we should tap the ref up about this and appeal for every one as a foul throw.
floyd the barber Posted September 19, 2008 Posted September 19, 2008 think we might see the return of agger for this game... Maybe a rest for carra....
Barnesy_10 Posted September 19, 2008 Posted September 19, 2008 didn't want to start a whole new thread, but seen this on the BBC gossip column. Liverpool manager Rafael Benitez has delayed the pre-match rendition of You'll Never Walk Alone at Anfield until just before kick-off. Historically, the anthem has been played while the players take the pitch, but the Spaniard said: "We thought it would keep the atmosphere right up until kick-off."

honourablegeorge Posted September 19, 2008 Posted September 19, 2008 Lawro says we'll be fine....*prepares noose* Quote Liverpool v Stoke City As long as Liverpool can deal with Rory Delap and his slingshot throw-in, they should win the game fine. Liverpool are in a really good run of form, I hope Rafa Benitez doesn't muck about with the team too much because they are getting results. Stoke's problem at Anfield will be getting enough players forward in support of the strikers, so I can see Liverpool winning comfortably. Verdict: 3-0
