Riera and Babel look very good when they are out wide.

 

Gerrard behind a fully fit Torres is potent. Just like Agger, let Keane's performances displace one of them, otherwise let him do what Babel did in his first season - stake a claim from the bench.

 

Against the likes of Stoke next week I would let Dirk rest his bones on the bench and stick Riera and Babel on each wing and really stretch a limited team to let Gerrard and Torres do damage.

Wasn't one of the most damning stats from Ged's time that we hardly ever came back to win if we went behind first?

Definitely not in the later half of his reign mate. Remember in Rafa's first year when we won 4-2 against fulham with Igor scoring the fourth goal. That was the first time in like 2.5 years when we had come back from behind to win in the league. I dunno the exact period of time but it was something incredibly long.

No we didn't. We went between 2-3 years without doing it.

 

The point is we certainly didn't do it 3 times in the last 5 games like we have just done.
