Guest Snorky Posted September 11, 2008 Posted September 11, 2008 The ref link is slow getting up, but it's Howard Webb
Ronnie Whelan Posted September 11, 2008 Posted September 11, 2008 The ref link is slow getting up, but it's Howard Webb Could be worse.
Rory Fitzgerald Posted September 11, 2008 Posted September 11, 2008 Could be worse. But not much better. He's a good ref.
Zoob Posted September 11, 2008 Posted September 11, 2008 I had a dream that Kuyt scored, the ball went right into the back of the net. Van der Saar pushed the ball out, and the goal wasn't given. With our luck against Utd, I wouldn't be surprised if that happened.
anfield11 Posted September 11, 2008 Posted September 11, 2008 But not much better. He's a good ref. Our luck, he'll get injured in the warm up and we'll be stuck with Martin Atkinson!!
Guest GrandpaSimpson Posted September 11, 2008 Posted September 11, 2008 (edited) Attack attack attack attack attack Attack attack attack attack attack El Zhar to be the hero. Edited September 11, 2008 by GrandpaSimpson
Dominus Maximus Posted September 12, 2008 Posted September 12, 2008 Sorry for my language, but we need to beat these c****!!! A victory would really set off a steamroller of confidence. Can't stand those manc b******s. COME ON LIVERPOOL!!!!
Guest Snorky Posted September 12, 2008 Posted September 12, 2008 I am fed up with leaving Anfield after a defeat by these shower of c****.
mathewbet1 Posted September 12, 2008 Posted September 12, 2008 Lets do them and shut up ratface Neville. Keane to score brace 2-1 thank you very much. Think Riera should start, hopfully plays a blinder and tears that ginger afroed 'baked bean head' a new a-hole.
stressederic Posted September 12, 2008 Posted September 12, 2008 I continue to have a good feeling about this one.
Clay Davis Posted September 12, 2008 Posted September 12, 2008 how about we f*** them in the a***? then we beat them 3-0 and humiliate them by keeping the ball from 65 mins onwards. Pipe dreams, it f***in should not be, i'm only 20 i'm yet to see us dominate the f***ing c****
mathewbet1 Posted September 12, 2008 Posted September 12, 2008 Lucks got to come our way sooner or later in these fixtures...............lets start on saturday.............
Red Posted September 12, 2008 Posted September 12, 2008 Well everyone expects a defensive display, so I fully expect us to go for it in the first 20. A lot depends on how well Rafa' has prepared the players. They have to go out, full of confidence and in the belief they can win.. then play the game of their lives, simple as that.

sutty Posted September 12, 2008 Posted September 12, 2008 It would be nice to see us play without fear, irrespective of whether Gerrard and Torres play or who the opposition are We can beat anybody. We have beaten everybody Hard game and all that, but no half measures else we're f***ed.
Bigal Posted September 12, 2008 Posted September 12, 2008 I am frothing at the mouth about this game now.....
Mr Makaveli Posted September 12, 2008 Posted September 12, 2008 Until now I was just worried about this game... after reading the usual pre match jibe from fergie though, Im fired up as f***. Now I just want us to not only beat them but to f***ing hammer the b******s!
beejay Posted September 12, 2008 Posted September 12, 2008 It's interesting that no-one outside Liverpool gives us a chance. Talking to supporters of other teams (I was at the England game in Barcelona) we not rated in the same league as "the top 3" and most expect us to be fighting it out as also-rans for 4th place. We only have 2 class players was a common theme. Most get their opinions from Sky I suppose so it would be a real statement for us to beat ManU without Gerrard & Torres, particularly if players who are capable of being top class such as Keane, Babel, Mascherano etc win their personal battles.

The united fans are almost complacent about it Kind of understandable in that for the last few years they've only really had to turn up and they've won. 7 points from 3 games without playing well. There's f***ing built in motivation here for this game lets make it 10 from 4 and put in a big performance.

I got that 'you've only got 2 players line yesterday actually'.... it was from a utd supporter and they didnt really think mascherano was up to much cause he never scores. It is a shame that he doesnt get the odd goal but of course we all know what he offers us out there on the pitch...
