Hassony Posted September 1, 2008 Posted September 1, 2008 so quick, hopefully DIC will feel they will want to compete with Abu Dhabi and push through for the Liverpool deal to go through
Mike Posted September 1, 2008 Posted September 1, 2008 makes me sick to my stomach that. how quickly it happened and yet we still have these scummy c**** dragging us down.
Hassony Posted September 1, 2008 Posted September 1, 2008 makes me sick to my stomach that. how quickly it happened and yet we still have these scummy c**** dragging us down. Parry can't even sort out a simple transfer that quickly
Hassony Posted September 1, 2008 Posted September 1, 2008 how do these guys compare to DIC Abu Dhabi is probably even richer than Dubai, although I think DIC have more experience (hasn't counted for much though)
Gunga Din Posted September 1, 2008 Posted September 1, 2008 the top 4 next season will probably include Man City now.
Mike Posted September 1, 2008 Posted September 1, 2008 its the abu dhabi royal family. bought out right.

Swipe Posted September 1, 2008 Posted September 1, 2008 the top 4 next season will probably include Man City now. Really? They've got that potential?
Gunga Din Posted September 1, 2008 Posted September 1, 2008 Really? They've got that potential? yes. they'll be richer than Chelsea.
Logic Posted September 1, 2008 Posted September 1, 2008 Fu(k. We need to get the yanks out ASAP or we'll start falling (more?) behind. Fu(k.
Hassony Posted September 1, 2008 Posted September 1, 2008 Can't we put pressure on the FA to talk to Hicks and Gillet about the "proper and fit" rule they have come up with to own the club
kick316 Posted September 1, 2008 Posted September 1, 2008 (edited) Fu(k. We need to get the yanks out ASAP or we'll start falling (more?) behind. Fu(k. We're somewhat lucky this year that we had players who we could sell for reasonable fees. Once we run out of sellable fringe players what's going to happen if we don't get additional investment? Start selling our star players to raise cash (well we almost did with Alonso)? Edited September 1, 2008 by kick316
Swipe Posted September 1, 2008 Posted September 1, 2008 Ah f***. Unless we get the yanks out and get our own rich arabs in, we could well be the team most at risk in the top 4, if that's the case.
Bailo Posted September 1, 2008 Posted September 1, 2008 Ah f***. Unless we get the yanks out and get our own rich arabs in, we could well be the team most at risk in the top 4, if that's the case.I think Arsenal will need to be looking over their shoulder too.
madaboutlfc Posted September 1, 2008 Posted September 1, 2008 Can't we put pressure on the FA to talk to Hicks and Gillet about the "proper and fit" rule they have come up with to own the clubno if there is one thing H&G have over anyone is that there records are fairly clean... man city for 200m shows that us for 3 or 4 times that amount is not unreasonable
Bailo Posted September 1, 2008 Posted September 1, 2008 no if there is one thing H&G have over anyone is that there records are fairly clean... man city for 200m shows that us for 3 or 4 times that amount is not unreasonableIs that the price? Surprised, as Thaksin needs to sell and they have a rather large neighbour already established in the city.
Gunga Din Posted September 1, 2008 Posted September 1, 2008 Can't we put pressure on the FA to talk to Hicks and Gillet about the "proper and fit" rule they have come up with to own the club they would pass fit and proper. we cant go the FA and complain because the owner is skint
Gunga Din Posted September 1, 2008 Posted September 1, 2008 no if there is one thing H&G have over anyone is that there records are fairly clean... man city for 200m shows that us for 3 or 4 times that amount is not unreasonable they dont even own their own ground. we were grossly underpriced when we were sold. it was a monumental f*** up by our advisors.
