Teams you miss from the top flight

Are there any teams that you miss having up in the Premiership (for whatever reason)?

 

I always had a soft spot for Ipswich (first game I ever went to was Brighton V Ipswich) and didn't much mind Leicester (even though we always struggled to win at Filbert Street) and Charlton (again even though they embarassed us in a few defeats. I was at THAT Easter Monday game and it was horrific).

I always look upon forest, leeds and sheffield wednesday as top flight teams, i wouldnt say i miss them from the topflight but its like they belong there.

QPR.....as they were our main rivals for the title in the first full season that I remember (75/76)

Than there used to be Wimbledon with Dave Beasant, Dennis Wise, Vinnie Jones and all

 

Luton and their plastic pitch.

 

Leeds and Nottingham forest of course

 

The two Sheffield clubs.

 

Crystal palace with Ian wright and mark bright used to be a good side in the 80s as was norwich city.

I can't understand anyone missing Forest, Leeds, Luton, Crystal Palace or Sheffield United.

i miss Leeds because its a cracking away day, i miss Norwich for the same reason, one of the best away days. I'm glad West Brom are back, but for me its those with the best away days that i want in the top flight

i miss Leeds because its a cracking away day, i miss Norwich for the same reason, one of the best away days. I'm glad West Brom are back, but for me its those with the best away days that i want in the top flight

It's a great place,Norwich,some of the best pubs around in the city centre if you know where to find them.

They're probably who I have a soft spot for,as well as Charlton.I've got a load of mates who support them,and used to sneak in for free when they were in the Premiership,plus I know the chairman's daughter.

A great family club,Charlton,plus I know I can always get a ticket for games there.

Yeah, back in the early 80s when they knocked us out of the Cup two seasons on the bounce.
