Ronnie Whelan Posted August 19, 2008 Posted August 19, 2008 Do you think we will ever see a return to the promotion or installing of in house managers such as ablett or hansen?
Guest GrandpaSimpson Posted August 19, 2008 Posted August 19, 2008 Phil Thompson. He's the man for the job.......
adeel Posted August 19, 2008 Posted August 19, 2008 Itandje, he is retiring only to focus on his managerial skills.
Kvarme Ate My Food Posted August 19, 2008 Posted August 19, 2008 I'm serious about Murphy. he's a smart bloke. (not the t** who posts on here, obviously)
CarraLegend Posted August 19, 2008 Posted August 19, 2008 Aurelio will surely know enough about becoming a physio if he ever wants to do that. Pacheco will make a great manager one day.
cymrococh Posted August 19, 2008 Posted August 19, 2008 I'm serious about Murphy. he's a smart bloke. (not the t** who posts on here, obviously)It would be back to the heady days of an all British team as well. I think Danny Murphy actually is Danny Murphy.

killiered Posted August 20, 2008 Posted August 20, 2008 Graeme Le Saux used to read the Guardian, we should bring him as Murphy's assistant. Whats wrong with Avi Cohen? Are i guys ALL anti-semits?
Guest GrandpaSimpson Posted August 20, 2008 Posted August 20, 2008 The presenter fella off LFC TV, promote him to melwood asap.
whitewidow Posted August 20, 2008 Posted August 20, 2008 I've always thought that Graeme Souness would be a fantastic manager, real eye for talent and tactical nouse as well.
fyds Posted August 20, 2008 Posted August 20, 2008 (edited) Gary Mac will be a great manager one day.Maybe - many a good man and ex-player with nouse have fallen by the wayside though. Hope he does make it. Will we ever go 'in-house' again? At some point I think we will - but probably not with an Englishman - wonder how Didi may eventually size up, or Xabi?
