Mr Parry accepted and appreciated that SOS members were unhappy.

Was that it? You seemed to say a lot without much response

that sounds like you bumped into him at Tescos and he said 'yeah yeah, put it in writing and i'll have a look at it later...'

I'm sure it was very official but not alot was said according to that.

Well you wouldn't expect Parry to answer all the questions raised in the meeting without running it by his bosses

"Due to time constraints not all issues of concern were covered. As a result, a follow up meeting has been suggested in approximately six weeks time, where we hope to be able to raise further concerns and discuss these in more detail. A more in depth report of the first and any subsequent meetings will be communicated to all members as soon as possible."

Did you read that bit?

in my opinion, the most important positive thing to take out of this is that SOS has the clout to get in the room with Parry

this is an important part of the SOS objective: to be heard

now, it would be great to have better news, like "Parry said the Yanks are selling up and the new owners will build the stadium and lend money to the club at 1%"

but in the absence of that, this looks like a good thing to me. Bit by bit, SOS increase their credibility

the next thing is the bit in bold - if you want your voice to be heard, you know what to do

Perhaps this is the wrong thread, but...

I'm still slightly unclear as to how I could make my voice heard after joining SOS

At the to-be-planned AGM? Any other way?

Good to see SOS talking to those running the club. It will be interesting to see what comes of it. Far more constructive to be talking to Parry than trying to operate in isolation IMO. It is also interesting that the meeting came about at Parry's instigation..

Short Term Aims

To institute a functioning structure for the Spirit Of Shankly.

To create long lasting relationships with all aspects of Liverpool FC’s supporting community.

To improve the quality of service for Liverpool FC's supporters.

To improve the standard and value of travel arrangements for Liverpool FC’s supporters.

for those who are not residents of merseyside sos is being entirely counter productive. for these its a f***ing nightmare trying to organise tickets, hotels and travel arrangements to home games but the thomas cook scheme should make things a damn sight easier. obtaining tickets isnt a level playing field because of the additional factors discussed so sorry but identifying this as a point of contention and something worth fighting goes against the aims that have been set - unless as i suggest the improved quality of service is limited to those that live in liverpool.

Very true. SOS have shown they have the clout to sit down with Parry.

I'd be interested in seeing the letter that SOS are going to send to Parry, outlining the concerns that SOS have. It would be useful to send that to him before the next meeting (in 6 weeks time) so it can act as an agenda for that meeting.

I see the SOS has been updated, its looking very good. Any plans for a forum such as this one?

I don't see why you highlighted those specific short term aims, as they're quite general and don't prejudice towards locals or out of towners. They're well worded.

Perhaps a forum on the SOS website would help.

You can't expect SOS to trawl each thread on every Liverpool forum to address issues and questions people have, a forum on their website would keep the debate central, whilst giving everyone the opportunity to have their voice heard.

Tbh Molby mate, I was all for joining up to a few days ago, but i honestly can't see what I would get out of it. who is gonna listen to me, an OOT'er, when your spokesman is fighting against an opportunity for me to get match tickets and accomodation at a decent price?

Now maybe thats not what he was intentionally doing but you can see why it would raise concerns.
