Elisha_Scott Posted July 28, 2008 Posted July 28, 2008 Apparently he has been absolutely f***ing immense. Even putting Fernando in his a*** pocket in a practice match today.
Gomez Posted July 28, 2008 Posted July 28, 2008 Apparently he has been absolutely f***ing immense. Even putting Fernando in his a*** pocket in a practice match today. Probably not that hard the fat b@stard
CarraLegend Posted July 28, 2008 Posted July 28, 2008 He'd be recognised as one of the best defenders in the world if he didnt get that injury imo, he's f***ing brilliant.
sutty Posted July 28, 2008 Posted July 28, 2008 He's a f***ing class act that boy. In the chelsea semi pre Athens he got a bit of a tatering at stamford bridge by Drogba. The way he played him at Anfield the following week was amazing. Smart footballer. Big miss last season he was. I fancy him to chip in a few goals next season as well
Ronnie Whelan Posted July 28, 2008 Posted July 28, 2008 Honestly, he'll be like a new signing. Quality player IMO and together with Skrtel will be one of the best CB partnerships around. Its vital to have two ball playing CB's with the quality we have in the middle and both those guys are excellent with the ball at their feet.
stressederic Posted July 28, 2008 Posted July 28, 2008 Am I alone in wondering whether Agger might be an interesting choice at taking freekicks with his left foot?
Elisha_Scott Posted July 28, 2008 Author Posted July 28, 2008 He is apparently super-aggressive too, which just makes things better. And, I agree with CarraLegend about the best in the world shout. My mate never really raves about players unless they are totally special, and he absolutely loves Agger.

Carragher plays in the centre IMO.
CarraLegend Posted July 28, 2008 Posted July 28, 2008 I'd hope we're speaking with his agent about a new deal now he's back playing again aswell, he's only got 2 years left. Get him on a five or six year deal.
AE Posted July 28, 2008 Posted July 28, 2008 Probably not that hard the fat b@stard I was going to suggest Agger must have a big pocket? So Mr Scott (and sorry for asking) is the kid really carrying some extra ballast or do the cameras add a few pounds??

Am chompin at the bit for the lads to get started this year, and with the sound of stuff like this so are they. Come on redmen

The way he played him at Anfield the following week was amazing. His reponse to that first leg was what, in my opinion, pushed him from being a very good player to a bloody good (potentially world class) one. Right in saying that if it weren't for his injury last season, he'd be right up there. A defender that young and brilliant I haven't seen in f*** knows how long.

I think its unlikely he would turn up for training with a cocky's hut.
AE Posted July 28, 2008 Posted July 28, 2008 Smart footballer. Big miss last season he was. I fancy him to chip in a few goals next season as well I honestly think if he had been fit all last season the points gap would have been a lot smaller.... and maybe even... but we will never know.
Chili Palmer Posted July 28, 2008 Posted July 28, 2008 I think its unlikely he would turn up for training with a cocky's hut. wtf??
MFletcher Posted July 28, 2008 Posted July 28, 2008 I thought this was going to be bad news. I love Agger. I can't wait to see a Skrtel/Agger partnership at some stage next season. We really should be tying him down to a six year contract ASAP.

Tones Posted July 28, 2008 Posted July 28, 2008 Seems to love playing football, and sounds like he was frutrated at not being able to play last year. Think he will be fired up for this year and wanting to make up for the past 12 months and thats great news for us.
AE Posted July 28, 2008 Posted July 28, 2008 I guess to be fair to Torres they will be at different stages of fitness.Give it a week or two and he'll be stuffing all our centre backs again

Never even minding the tatoos, barely surpressed rage is something that I always think I see in him. Which I rather enjoy. He comes across that way in some interviews too. Doesn't give a bollix what anyone thinks.
