Expanding a laptop's memory

Any idea how hard/easy this is?

 

I've just bought a really basic laptop that comes with 1gig of RAM, it says it's expandable to 4. Is it something I (someone's who's never done anything inside a computer) could do or do I need to go to an expert?

 

Will I even need to expand it? I'm only going to use it for internet, basic word-processing, storing music and photos, Football Manager live and that's about it.
