ali Posted July 19, 2008 Posted July 19, 2008 Andrea Dossena set for Liverpool FC debut Jul 19 2008 by Tony Barrett, Liverpool Echo ANDREA DOSSENA has been given the go-ahead to make his Liverpool debut in tonight's pre-season friendly against Wisla Krakow in Fribourg. The Italian left back has been awaiting international clearance to play his first game since joining the club in a £6m transfer from Udinese earlier this month and was yesterday given permission to get his Liverpool career under way. Reds boss Rafa Benitez is keen to give Dossena his first taste of first team action and is likely to start him against the Polish outfit at the Stade de Leonard. http://www.liverpoolecho.co.uk/liverpool-f...00252-21368954/

McBain Posted July 19, 2008 Posted July 19, 2008 Gerrard's gone home injured. Groin strain that will keep him out 7 to 10 days
Sion Posted July 19, 2008 Posted July 19, 2008 The Liverpool team in full: Cavalieri, Darby, Dossena, Agger, Carragher, Plessis, Lucas, Leto, Benayoun, Babel, Voronin. Subs: Martin, Hyypia, Skrtel, Pacheco, Aurelio, Pennant, Kuyt, Mascherano, Insua, Spearing, Hobbs.
McBain Posted July 19, 2008 Posted July 19, 2008 Pat Nevin speaking sense I need to lay off the vodka
Rahul Posted July 19, 2008 Posted July 19, 2008 Good finish that coming straight back at him from the keeper.
Rahul Posted July 19, 2008 Posted July 19, 2008 Looks like Babel took a knock early on and is still suffering from it.
LondonLiverpoolFan Posted July 19, 2008 Posted July 19, 2008 Voronin misses a one on one. Should have buried it.
