ANDREA DOSSENA has been given the go-ahead to make his Liverpool debut in tonight's pre-season friendly against Wisla Krakow in Fribourg.

 

The Italian left back has been awaiting international clearance to play his first game since joining the club in a £6m transfer from Udinese earlier this month and was yesterday given permission to get his Liverpool career under way.

 

Reds boss Rafa Benitez is keen to give Dossena his first taste of first team action and is likely to start him against the Polish outfit at the Stade de Leonard.
