The illuminati in Liverpool

Walking through Dovecot park this morning and by the kids play area on the path someone has spray painted the all seeing eye in the pyramid thing with a big X going through it.

 

Further up the path (by the Pilch lane entrance) presumably the same person has written "open your eyes to the truth". There's not one other piece of graffitti in the park and it seems to have appeared pretty recently, and both sets of graffitti look as though they were stencilled so obviously someones put some effort into it. Anyone else seen anything similar in Liverpool or is Knotty Ash the epicentre of the secret world government?.
