After weeks without any football there will be a couple of Internationlas tonight.

Norway - Uruguay

England - USA

Iceland - Wales

I will watch the Norway match to see if Per Ciljan Skjelbred will continue to impress in the International stage.

Are there anyone to watch out for in the Urugay team, that I might not know about?

Bizarre team from England.

Gerrard left midfield, Beckham starts.

Norway - Uruguay 0-1 HT.

Norway have been the better team so far, but a major f*** up in defense from Jon Inge Høiland gifted Uruguay a goal two minutes from the break.

Poor game though.

John Motson is an insufferable cu_nt.......latest ramblings being on Rooney being a potential England captain of the future and how he's matured a lot. FFS Motty, they can't even decide the current captain.

From the beeb site:

"2031: Action at Wembley, crikey! Wayne Rooney bursts down the right and crosses for Steven Gerrard, but the Liverpool man takes too long and his shot from 20 yards is blocked."

Maybe he took a little longer because the ball was played behind him

good lord, these english players must be literally carried by their foreign colleagues at club level.

Theres no balance to the side though.

In midfield you have a a player who has sent the last 18 months playing at a vastly inferior level and then 3 centre midfielders - how that is supposed to work only Capello knows.

Defoe misses a very good chance. Super cross from Gerrard with left foot after good link up with Rooney. Gerrard & Rooney doing well over on the left wing.

What is the point in watching all this games if you are basically going to play the same bloody side that McLaren played for 2 years?

I really thought Capello would give us a balanced football side, regardless of name. If Gerrard is left out for the sake a genuine left sided midfielder then Id prefer it to this constant obession with selecting the top 11 players in the country and making a side out of them.

Cry baby scores 1-0.

Stevie has been England's best player, despite playing out of position.

Surprised Terry hasn't started crying.
