Say it isn't so, I'll miss his happy smiling face and bubbly personality. It'll be a sad day for English football losing a man with that much charisma, he's charmed us from the start.

 

Since he sat down at his first press conference looking like an exceptionally grumpy bullfrog suffering from a urine infection which had just lost it's whole family family in a tragic pondside accident I've been looking out for his every word.

I actually feel a bit for Grant. He came in with an impossible mandate and missed out by a few goals and the width of a post. Add to that the ridiculous posturing and criticism from the media just because he didn't call himself special or wear a grey Armani overcoat and the way he has been treated is a disgrace. It would have been hilarious if they'd won the trophy, Roman had offered him a fat transfer kitty and then Grant had said, "Beat it, you droopy chinned shyster".
