I wasn't gutted immediately post match at stamford bridge

A wave of guttedness hit me yesterday

Posted

I'll make a final decision on how gutted or not I am when it's all over and Mr Batonski has done the rounds.

Today my thoughts go out to one person:

Mr Cech who plays for Chelsea

I hope he has the best game of his life and prevents United from winning the European Cup

What pissed me off even more this morning was SSN showing Drogba's 2nd goal in the 2nd leg, with Riise thinking he's in the Arsenal back four circa early to mid 90s with his bloody arm up instead of actually trying to close down Anelka.

Me too.

When I think of Riise's own goal I try to remain calm by thinking about his cross for Gerrard in Istanbul. I still want to murder him though.

I'm feeling a strange mixture of frustration and relief.

Obviosuly frustrated that we should be there, but I also can't help but feel we'd have been beaten in the final, and losing to Chelsea in the semi who we've already beaten twice at the same stage is incomparible to losing to those c*nts in the final.

Taking into account Rafa's record against United I just can't help but feel we'd have come out worst, which would have been unthinkably horrible. Sounds defeatist I know, but part of me just can't help thinking 'thank God it's Chelsea and not us'.

I really think Chelsea have a better chance of beating United. We'd need a couple of wins against them to make me feel differently and I'd be in a f*cking panic right now if we were playing in this game.

There were no footballing reasons not to want to be there

There were others, but they've fallen by the wayside for me.

I am being serious when I say not one day so far has gone by where I haven't thought about what that ****** did.

Aye, as I think Mike said after the first leg, Riise scored the winning goal for Chelsea and that is what people will remember after he leaves the club. It's a kind of ironic way to finish given his song, never was it more apt !!!!

Rafa;s record in cups against them is pretty good.

I cringed when I saw the OG but equally as sickening was his feeble effort to block Drogba's first and the stupid c*** raising his hand for his second. He single-handidly fecked up our chance for number 6.

This final is set up perfectly for Sheva to be the hero. He has hardly played, his last CL final was a disaster and he's back home. :mischief::mischief:

Watch out the Pope, Prince Charles and Ken and Diedra..................Destiny calls.

I remember after the home Chelsea game getting back to the pub and trying to be optomistic and positive and not blaming Riise - with the hope that we'd be able to overturn the result at Stamford Bridge.

I now take that back - the stupid Ginger Munter.

I have been trying to avoid press coverage of tonights match quite successfully for the last few days.

Despite this, I am getting more and more frustrated today with the fact that it should be us in Moscow. How on earth a professional footballer can not have the confidence to swing their weaker foot at a ball is beyond me.

Some of those chances Cech saved from Torres have haunted me, too.

a few of my mates said similar - i can't agree.. the biggest club game around and you have a chance of getting there and playing in what is easily the biggest game in English football history and you don't wanna take your chance? you'd rather not be there? do me a favour Leo lad.. this is what it's all about..

i haven't bought/read a newspaper since we were beaten in the semi's cos i can't bear the thought of this occasion taking place and reading about it will make me feel worse.. i also haven't watched Sky Sports channels other than the play-off games cos i didn't want it shoved down my throat at every ad break..

fkin sick we're not playing them c***s tonight.. i'd love for us to have been the ones to stop them.. imagine it.. oh yes, i'd have gladly taken the chance despite what the flipside was..
