stressederic Posted May 18, 2008 Posted May 18, 2008 Miss out on CL qualification. 0 - 0 on the day, lost 2 - 1 on aggregate to Twente Enschede I wonder how long Huntelaar will hang about there.
Gooner Spy Posted May 18, 2008 Posted May 18, 2008 Wow, thats 2 big clubs missing out. 3 if you include Spurs, as this was to be, after all, their year!!!
carrafan Posted May 18, 2008 Posted May 18, 2008 Wow, thats 2 big clubs missing out. 3 if you include Spurs, as this was to be, after all, their year!!! Wrong forum if you want people to appreciate a Spurs joke. Ajax havent qualified for the Champions League for 2 years in a row now. Anyone in the know know what went wrong there?
Gunga Din Posted May 18, 2008 Posted May 18, 2008 Wrong forum if you want people to appreciate a Spurs joke. Ajax havent qualified for the Champions League for 2 years in a row now. Anyone in the know know what went wrong there? same as is happening in every other league in Europe. miss out on champions league, dont get as much money, players leave, cant compete in the transfer market, and therefore the same few teams keep qualifying over and over
George Costanza Posted May 18, 2008 Posted May 18, 2008 same as is happening in every other league in Europe. miss out on champions league, dont get as much money, players leave, cant compete in the transfer market, and therefore the same few teams keep qualifying over and over It is becoming very predictable and boring
Gooner Spy Posted May 18, 2008 Posted May 18, 2008 Wrong forum if you want people to appreciate a Spurs joke. Sorry, I thought that Spurs jokes were universal throughout the Football Family!
Guest Anders Honoré Posted May 18, 2008 Posted May 18, 2008 Sorry, I thought that Spurs jokes were universal throughout the Football Family! they are, but not the 'this is our year' one.
Hassony Posted May 18, 2008 Posted May 18, 2008 Bayern failed to qualify to europe and they reacted by signing Toni and Rebiri and winning the league fairly easily
Gooner Spy Posted May 18, 2008 Posted May 18, 2008 they are, but not the 'this is our year' one. Sorry, was a glib reference to all the talk last summer about the inevitability of them taking our place in the Champions League. A lesson it would seem they havent learned yet...... http://www.spurs.vitalfootball.co.uk/article.asp?a=506566
Kvarme Ate My Food Posted May 18, 2008 Posted May 18, 2008 surely the year has to end in a 1, if it's to be a glorious year for Spurs
fyds Posted May 18, 2008 Posted May 18, 2008 milan havent qualified for the cl next year.Wow, that's a biggie. Still, they have a very aging side - maybe a year away from the CL might encourage them to rebuild or at least make serious inroads.
Elisha_Scott Posted May 19, 2008 Posted May 19, 2008 Sorry, was a glib reference to all the talk last summer about the inevitability of them taking our place in the Champions League. A lesson it would seem they havent learned yet...... http://www.spurs.vitalfootball.co.uk/article.asp?a=506566 They are f***ing idiots aren't they? 'Torres future uncertain'? Why, because the papers said Chelsea think he is a good player I would not be surprised if Keane was off this summer either, anyone know his contract situation?
Elisha_Scott Posted May 19, 2008 Posted May 19, 2008 Keane signed a new contract last year till 2012 Anyone know who his agent is?
stressederic Posted May 19, 2008 Posted May 19, 2008 Anyone know who his agent is? Robbie Keane does.
Extraordinary Swindle Posted May 19, 2008 Posted May 19, 2008 Anyone know who his agent is?Tony Stephens? Is he not also the agent of one Steven Gerrard?
Elisha_Scott Posted May 19, 2008 Posted May 19, 2008 Tony Stephens? Is he not also the agent of one Steven Gerrard? Its not Tony Stephens anymore.
Earl Hafler Posted May 19, 2008 Posted May 19, 2008 (edited) Anyone know who his agent is? Might still be Tony Stephens, who i think was Owen's agent. Never mind. Edited May 19, 2008 by Big Stuff
Elisha_Scott Posted May 19, 2008 Posted May 19, 2008 Might still be Tony Stephens, who i think was Owen's agent. Never mind. Struan Marshall
Earl Hafler Posted May 19, 2008 Posted May 19, 2008 (edited) Jamie Hart - son of Forest Manager Paul Hart and at SFX with your mate Struan And if you're yanking my chain here and implying that there may be something in the pipeline about him moving to Anfield, i'll have your guts for garters if it's not true Edited May 19, 2008 by Big Stuff
Elisha_Scott Posted May 19, 2008 Posted May 19, 2008 Jamie Hart - son of Forest Manager Paul Hart and at SFX with your mate Struan Struan is Keane's agent and also became Downing's agent 2 months ago. As well as Riise, Carra and Gerrard.

Purely my own personal point of view but he does have a good 'in' at Liverpool.
