anyone else use sky broadband

joined sky broadband about a month ago after being with tiscali for around 2 years. Found the router really easy to set up and stuff but have been experiencing real problems with the wireless range the wireless router offers.

 

I used to be able to go use my laptop outside in the garden my last router was so good but the standard issue sagem sh*te that i have been given by sky doesnt even have an antenna?! This means that as my router is upstairs (connected to my xbox 360) and i attempt to use my laptop downstairs the signal is very weak and the net often gets cut off due to the weak signal.

 

does anyone else have the same sort of coverage or range issues with the standard router that sky supplied? do you think its worth me getting on the phone and complaining to them to send me another?

 

i have been told that I cannot use my belkin router on the sky network due to various password issues - if anyone can help me out would very much appreciate it!
