Chelsea winning their first EC and joining the elite, having to watch Terry pick up 'our' cup, having to put up with the skinheads waving their little blue flags and singing their 'no surrender' songs, I can stand all of that to watch Fergie's face on the losers rostrum.

This morning a mate of mine, a sensible lad, a West Ham fan said something.

 

'I can stand Liverpool winning it, I can stand the mancs (who he fecking despises) winning it, I could even put up with arsenal doing it but Chelsea....

 

It'll prove to the world that you can buy it, the whole ethos of football is damaged and there'll be a host of abramovitch's looking to emulate him.

My hatred for the Mancs is much mightier than my dislike of all things Chelsea.

 

However, I could reconcile either side winning. If the Mancs win (and they will) I'll focus all my energy on seeing Terry & Lampard crying and soak up the positive rays from that. Thoughts of the winning team won't enter my head.

 

But I won't be watching it live either. Rangers v. Zenit? Couldn't care less and didn't watch. Cardiff v. Portsmouth? Couldn't care less and won't watch. The Mancs v. Chelsea? It'll wind me up too much and I daren't watch.

No. But only up to a point. If DIC came in with a £1b war chest for Rafa and we ended up buying players so nobody else could get them or paying twice the going price I wouldn't be comfortable with that at all. The other issue is where has the money come from?

 

The likes of Thaksim and Abramovitch have blood on their hands but you don't give a schit and you'd welcome them to our club?.
