Those are probably the only ones who've played to a high enough level of consistency often enough, really. Others have had a combination of some very good games, or very good spells (ie. Kuyt in the run in).

10's a bit of over-kill. Although you could give 5 extra places for Torres, cos he's deserving :cool:

 

Skrrrtel did impress, but he wasn't here for long tbf.

Gets harder to pick beyond that. carra, lucas and arbeloa have been indifferent, agger, finnan, aurelio and xabi been too injured, babel and yossi too inconsistent, kuyt too average, pennant, voronin and riise just too poor. Skretl and crouch haven't played enough.

 

Think we need 3-4 from that bunch to excel next season like the first five have to make a genuine bid for the title. My money is on agger, babel and xabi.

While I think Al has had a disappointing season in general, that is an outrage to put him in the same category as JAR and Andriy :angry:

Skrtel's maintained a high level of performance since coming here.

 

He may only have played twenty games, but he's still had a better season than some players.

I dont think Riise has been as bad as people make him out to be, if you manage to look past the own goal against Chelsea I think he should be in there and he has been a much better defender than Crouch, Kuyt, Voronin has been as attackers etc.
