Barnesy_10 Posted April 26, 2008 Posted April 26, 2008 Bizarre pitch fracas follows Chelsea match Chelsea ground staff and Manchester United players were involved in a bizarre fracas on the pitch in an almost deserted Stamford Bridge stadium after Saturday's Premier League match between the two teams. None of the United players who played in the match were involved but players Patrice Evra, Gary Neville, Paul Scholes, Gerard Pique and John O'Shea were all warming down when an argument began with the ground staff tending the pitch. Stewards quickly moved in to separate those involved but after the situation quietened down the row flared up again, although no punches were thrown. The incident came a few minutes after Chelsea beat Manchester United 2-1 to pull level with United at the top of the table. http://www.timesofmalta.com/articles/view/...s-chelsea-match and then fishlips: Rio Ferdinand apologised to a female steward at Chelsea after accidentally kicking her when he was en route to United's dressing room. The defender was venting his anger at the Reds' defeat when the incident occurred. Rio told ManUtd.com: "I kicked the wall in frustration at the result, just as I have done in the past. Unfortunately a lady was stood there and I accidentally brushed her with my foot. "I went back to make sure she was okay and apologised profusely. To her credit, she laughed it off and was very understanding. She said she wasn't hurt. "I have arranged for a bouquet of flowers to be sent to her." useless c***.
Ronnie Whelan Posted April 26, 2008 Posted April 26, 2008 Those performance enhancing drugs seem to be blurring Ferdinands vision again.
CarraLegend Posted April 26, 2008 Posted April 26, 2008 "I have arranged for a bouquet of flowers to be sent to her." And you had to announce that to the world Rio? What a scumbag.
Old red eyes Posted April 26, 2008 Posted April 26, 2008 although no punches were thrown. That's a shame.
dorgie Posted April 26, 2008 Posted April 26, 2008 So the Mancs have come down from the high moral ground they were on after the Mascherano sending off. That didn't take long.
marvinbarcelona Posted April 26, 2008 Posted April 26, 2008 So the Mancs have come down from the high moral ground they were on after the Mascherano sending off. That didn't take long. Sorry, I thought the "moral high ground" was where Liverpool fans think they live.
Bailo Posted April 26, 2008 Posted April 26, 2008 Sorry, I thought the "moral high ground" was where Liverpool fans think they live. Our moral high ground is f***ing miles above the ground your c*** of a club resides on.
Barnesy_10 Posted April 26, 2008 Author Posted April 26, 2008 remember when Ferdinand pelted that ball in frustration into the crowd which t***ted the old woman in the face.... he is using his frustration as a cover up for his second favourite past time after drug taking..... woman battering.... the f*** lipped c***.
Kvarme Ate My Food Posted April 26, 2008 Posted April 26, 2008 Sorry, I thought the "moral high ground" was where Liverpool fans think they live. "I know you are but what am I?" boss.
Cam Posted April 26, 2008 Posted April 26, 2008 "I accidentally brushed her with my foot. I went back to make sure she was okay and apologised profusely. To her credit, she laughed it off and was very understanding. She said she wasn't hurt."The refrain of every wife-beater. She was probably cowering in a corner as he loomed over her, veins bulging in his forehead & neck, fists clenched. And he's gonna be England's captain!

dorgie Posted April 26, 2008 Posted April 26, 2008 Sorry, I thought the "moral high ground" was where Liverpool fans think they live. No, the moral high ground is where Ferguson took to immediately after our game against you at OT stating his players don't surround the referee anymore and players need to respect referees more. Plenty of evidence of exactly the opposite throughout the game today.
Guest Prongsy Posted April 26, 2008 Posted April 26, 2008 England Captain material if I've ever seen it.
Old red eyes Posted April 26, 2008 Posted April 26, 2008 England Captain material if I've ever seen it. I was driving down to the bookies after our match and Green and his buddies said the same thing on Radio 5.
Raj Posted April 26, 2008 Posted April 26, 2008 I punched the air and my wife just happened to be stood there. Isn't that what Darren Ferguson said?

As for Ferdinand.....well, he's a typical ill-educated, over paid, over pampered footballer. Most clubs are full of them, even Liverpool. Did he deliberately kick the steward? I doubt it very much. He probably just lashed out and unfortunately the poor woman was in the way. Nothing malicious, just him being a t*t.
Barnesy_10 Posted April 26, 2008 Author Posted April 26, 2008 its amusing reading the opinions of the fracas on redcafe.... of course the columbo's amongst them have automatically accused the ground staff of making 'monkey noises' as Evra is the last person to get wound up like that....
yellow jumper Posted April 26, 2008 Posted April 26, 2008 (edited) how does a pro footballer try to kick a wall and miss? the stewards at chelsea are w***ers though to be fair. Edited April 26, 2008 by george lees
billybunter Posted April 26, 2008 Posted April 26, 2008 Is rio really going to be the captain of england? FFS what the f*** is going on with the world
