Gooner Spy Posted April 17, 2008 Posted April 17, 2008 Just watching this on MTV, its absolutely incredible how such a no-mark footballer has earned so much money. Incredible place, 8-9 motors, all over the 100k mark, stunning wife. All really is not well in Football if a journeyman footballer can command this much cash.
Cunny Posted April 17, 2008 Posted April 17, 2008 he kept getting transferrednice juicy signing on feesnot bad work if you can get it
Gooner Spy Posted April 17, 2008 Author Posted April 17, 2008 he kept getting transferrednice juicy signing on feesnot bad work if you can get it Ian Walker now. The strange, and slightly disappointing thing, is that they are both really tastefully decorated.
Hassony Posted April 17, 2008 Posted April 17, 2008 I remember seeing Ward's house on cribs a while back, its probably the best one they have shown

I remember a Championship player being on that, cant remember who but his house was unbelievable.

Old red eyes Posted April 17, 2008 Posted April 17, 2008 I think most footballers earn enough cash to have a real nice house and all the toys. Just a question on how they invest it etc. Whilst in the Army i knocked around with a girl whose sister was married to Andy Payton, ( ex Hull, Boro, Celtic and Barnsley ) his house was crap and he was a knob.
The Hitman Posted April 17, 2008 Posted April 17, 2008 his house was crap and he was a knob. Don't know why,but that made me almost piss myself.
muleskinner Posted April 17, 2008 Posted April 17, 2008 His missus is the interior designer for most of the Premiership players.

Darren Caskey was on £8,000 a week at Notts County when they were in League 1, I think they went down to League 2 and into administration whilst he was there.

Mike Sheron (Man City, Stoke etc) is known by the people I sit next to at the match and he is a millionaire because when he was on £5K a week he didn't piss it all away. Most Championship players who live a normal lifestyle should be set for life when they retire.
Ostrich Man Posted April 17, 2008 Posted April 17, 2008 Totally agree. I remember a Championship player being on that, cant remember who but his house was unbelievable.its stories as good as that that make this forum.
StevieC Posted April 17, 2008 Posted April 17, 2008 I seem to remember Robbie Savage's pad living up to the footballer interior design stereotype.
Gooner Spy Posted April 17, 2008 Author Posted April 17, 2008 Yeah, Savage's was a rival to Phil Neville's in terms of gaudiness. I remember some Argentinean at West Ham who had a penthouse in London, that had the inside floor space of 2 pitches, with a massive pool and hottub outside. Ridiculous!

psl Posted April 17, 2008 Posted April 17, 2008 Saw one with Harry Kewell once. Absolutely amazing place.
muleskinner Posted April 17, 2008 Posted April 17, 2008 Saw one with Harry Kewell once. Absolutely amazing place. The one with a fully furnished dining room that he had never been in?
Sir Tokyo Sexwale Posted April 17, 2008 Posted April 17, 2008 Genuinely good players, I don't begrudge the money; but w*****s like Duncan Ferguson, who amount to nothing, win nothing & are forgotten immediately, that pisses me off
Old red eyes Posted April 17, 2008 Posted April 17, 2008 Saw one with Harry Kewell once. Absolutely amazing place. Did it have built in stair lifts ?
