Plessis - 8 amazing debut, good potential

Lucas - 6 looking small and im starting to doubt if he is EPL material

Benayoun - 6 passenger

Pennant - 4 see Riise

Crouch - 8 good performance, great goal

Voro - won't even dignify that with a grade

Finnan & Arbeloa played well. Carra & the Scrote had very good games. Plessis was great & Crouchigol MOTM for me.

I thought Lucas was playing very well in the first half. He faded in the second, but some of the ratings here are a bit harsh.

 

I thought Pennant and Voronin were lamentable.

 

Plessis was brilliant.

Not sure how some people missed Carra's performance, almost every block in the game was down to a bit of him being in the way and he was sorting and talking to players all around him the whole 90 mins. MOM for me. Thought it was Crouch that made a balls of tracking and challenging Bendtner, seemed to be trying to head Bendnters a***, not the ball. Which lessened his overall contribution a bit but other wise he did well. Plessis absolutely outstanding, amazing debut. Finnan made several key challenges and interceptions. He'd be up there too as one of our best performers. Lucas thought was just okay. Arbeloa very good. Riise alright apart from woeful final balls/finishing. Pennant a f***ing joke, pissed off with him - great feet, great control but doesn't seem to have a clue what to do with the ball. Benayoun I thought put in a busy and fairly effective perfomance. Overall, it was an excellent team performance, we did very well considering who was on the pitch and who and where we were playing.

It was a good pass but the wrong choice, should have done anything but pass to Voronin!!! What is that guy doing at our club, he is a waste of space, surely Nemeth deserves a go from the bench ahead of him
