Romario Posted March 31, 2008 Posted March 31, 2008 I hope he shakes off his current wobbles on crosses quickly. It was a mistake against ManU's Forlan that started Dudeks demise and he never really recovered. I think Reina is made of sterner stuff though so I hope he shakes it off sooner rather than later.
Guest Ant Posted March 31, 2008 Posted March 31, 2008 Reina's error was much lest publicised than the Dudek one. He'll shake it off, like he did last season.

Hieronymus Bosch Posted March 31, 2008 Posted March 31, 2008 Reina only occasionally looks suspect when coming for crosses. I think he's quite good at it generally, but our outfield players haven't always pulled their weight when defending set-pieces this season. Arsenal aren't the best at attcking set-pieces, so hopefully there won't be too many flaps.
DJS Posted March 31, 2008 Posted March 31, 2008 As has been said, Pepe's mental strength is sound and he's made mistakes before and bounced back as if nothing had happened. No worries about Reina whatsoever, he's top class and we're lucky to have him. £6m for a long term solution to one of the most key positions - one of the bargains of the century IMO.

We had a game yesterday. He looked fine.
Guest Prongsy Posted March 31, 2008 Posted March 31, 2008 It's one of his major strengths. ALL keepers make mistakes (Cech is making them by the second) but Pepe understands this and dusts himself off and gets on with it.
DJS Posted March 31, 2008 Posted March 31, 2008 He's the best keeper in the land , by far. By virtue of Cech breaking his head, you're probably right. Prior to that injury, he was untouchable.
Maldini Posted March 31, 2008 Posted March 31, 2008 His current wobbles? Huh? He made a couple of mistakes against United, he also made 4 or 5 world class saves. He was over the mistakes before we'd kicked off again. That's why he's the best around at the moment.
