Cheeky bid anyone?? ;)

Robert Pires has revealed that Thierry Henry was so angry after being substituted against Villarreal that he stormed out of Camp Nou and did not speak to his former team-mate.

The Barca forward was taken off for Bojan Krkic in the second half of the Blaugrana's defeat by the Yellow Submarines on Sunday and was not happy about the switch.

Henry had agreed to meet his former Arsenal team-mate after the game, but then left early after being taken off by Frank Rijkaard and Pires admitted that his friend was not happy.

Not happy

"He was angry because he is not used to being substituted. At Arsenal he was never substituted," the Villarreal star was quoted as saying by Sport.

"We agreed to speak after the game and have a good chat, but when I went to find him they said that he had gone home. But he had left me his shirt though.

"If I said that Henry was fine then I would be called a liar. It is difficult because I do not play in his position, he is always switching between the right and the left. I know him and I know he is not good."

Henry missed training on Monday with an alleged migraine, but the club insisted that he was in the stadium working in the gymnasium.

Relations between the Barca squad and the press have deteriorated rapidly in recent weeks and only Andres Iniesta and Gianluca Zambrotta walked through the Zona Mixta to speak after the game.

So Henry left, Torres centre, Babel right

Gerrard supporting.

Two new full backs and we should scare the **** out of all defenders next year

I'd sooner have Ronaldino, who will be going a damned site cheaper than a world class 27 year old should go for.

And who is playing left back? Cos we'd need a brilliant one!

So would they.

In this system, the wingers (and they are wingers in this system, instead of wide midfielders)don't have a lot of defensive duty, that's the responsibility of the two defensive midfielders, same with the other side and babel.

Henry has been stinking up the Nou Camp lately.

He cannot play alongside an out and out attacker in Eto'o and struggles to get involved in the game. He was subbed for the kid Bojan and the attitude of the team changed 100%.

To be honest, I would not go near him as he looks to be past his best.

If he was on a free transfer though...

and how much is that?

His wages would be astronimical

All top players wages are astronomical. Top players sell more shirts and attract more revenue. prize money and sponsorships.

no way, clearly past it. Name the last player that left arsenal and actually achieved anything?

Arsenal flog their players, sell them in their late 20's with the buying club thinking the player is in his prime, but by then Arsene has squeezed all the life of the player by then.

He plays them young, but doesn't do anything for their longevity. Watch Cesc in a few years, he'll be burnt out by the time he is 28.

I wouldn't mind some Messi though! :- )

That is one thing that Wenger has got incredibly right.

So many players he's sold, for money that looks f***ing stoopid now. Never buy from Wenger, fact.

Marc Overmars and Emmanuel Petit did OK after leaving Arsenal.

Anelka. Won the CL for Madrid in 2000.

He proved the difference between in the match against a Munich side that despite being superior and beating them 3 times out of 4 couldn't go through in the semis.
